For too long, Communist Cuba has been allowed to operate as an outpost for malign actors and terror groups – including the Islamic Republic of Iran, the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism – to target the United States. Today, I designated BICSA, a Cuban financial institution which has been providing financial services to sanctioned Iranian entities. Let me be absolutely clear: the Trump Administration will not tolerate a rogue state hosting hostile foreign military, intelligence and terror operations less than a hundred miles from our homeland. state.gov/releases/office-of…

If you bought a MAGA hat between 2021-2025, Jack Smith had a spreadsheet with your name and home address. Let that sink in…. Thanks to Senator @ChuckGrassley & @SenJudiciaryGOP for bringing transparency! Time to hold Jack Smith accountable! @ItsYourGov

“Mealer is actually a good candidate for Republicans,” said pollster & analyst Mark Jones. “We've had some examples where President Trump has backed a GOP candidate who was not the party’s best option if their goal was to win in November.” Jones noted that Mealer polled nearly evenly with Gutierrez among women, with 44% planning to vote for Mealer and 47% supporting Gutierrez, something he said is “pretty rare for Republican candidates these days.”  thetexan.news/elections/2026…

These roadster demos don’t seem real… but they are! … and keep in mind that the air system can be refilled by the car… so it would be possible to drive your car over a traffic jam some day, refill it and then park your car on the roof of your garage. 😂😂😂 This might be a couple of seconds today but what if it could keep you in the air for five minutes? Or ten? Or 30?
He really did it. He built a fucking flying car.

Nice to see the NYT/Siena Texas poll for governor just moved 5% net and threw Abbott back in the lead, 48-47. I’ve said this a million times, but 1% in Texas this year will be roughly 100,000 of margin. So, they’re essentially saying since last week, a half million margin moved. 200,000 margin in the Senate, also. What I’m willing to bet happened was a conversation: “Dammit, run another one and stick Abbott back in the lead. No one knows who Hinojosa is and Abbott has never won by less than 11. It’s the Senate are rigging for the markets! Move that one two points!” In reality, voters don’t swing like this without a major reason to do so.

In a private Zoom Meeting, Democrat Nominee for Texas Senate James Talarico says Capitalism is linked to white supremacy and climate change and needs to be dismantled. “And I think only understanding the ways that all three of those oppressive systems work together are we going to be able to begin the process of dismantling them.”

I am getting lots of incoming questions about the public execution of Nidal Hasan, mostly because I have been outspoken on wanting public executions for over a decade. My position is simple: Executions should be public and brutal, not private and medicalized. They are the ultimate example of the state's monopoly on violence, and the only way to keep that from running out of control is to confront voters with the trade they have made every single time, that they might have appropiate confidence or revulsion in the institution. This is not new thinking. George Washington thought the same. The way we have shifted from hanging to firing squads to doctors quietly injecting chemicals that send our worst gently off to sleep is awful and dystopian, a total short-circuiting of important feedback mechanisms. It makes needless executions more likely, not less so. People who demean this as barbaric or yucky miss the whole point. It doesn't somehow become torture or inhumane (as the UN is suddenly claiming) just because we decline to hide the act behind a curtain. And then there are those who suggest any revel in the death of those who truly deserve it is an indicator of a broken or diseased mind. To the contrary. It is normal, good, and aligned with our natural and national order. That it has not been done here in 60 years is an indictment in and of itself. And that is without even getting into the fact that men were not hung for stealing horse, but that horses may not be stolen. "I would to God that one of the most attrocious in each State was hung in Gibbets, up on a gallows five times as high as the one prepared by Haman. No punishment, in my opinion, is too great for the Man, who can build his greatness upon his Country’s ruin." - George Washington, 1778
