creating music is so fun, cause there’s an infinite number of possibilities for where you could take the sound.

music isn’t moving you because you don’t sit with it or give anything time to resonate. yall treat songs/albums like single-use items & wonder why nothing sticks.

This might be the most important part of being a creative. It’s not talent, It’s not resources, It’s not even connections. It’s STORYTELLING. Pay close attention to this, mastering it can completely change your game. 👉🏽 Retweet & bookmark, another creative needs to see this.

Creative people should only make art when they feel inspired not just for the sake of the performance and other people’s consumption

The next frontier of the music ecosystem isn’t just about artists or labels… it’s the A&Rs. They are the ones who scout, shape, and scale talent often long before the spotlight finds it. As the industry evolves, their role is becoming indispensable. Ignore them at your own risk.

When someone introduces you to a new contact in the music industry, they’re vouching for you If you disappear or act unprofessionally, it doesn’t just impact your reputation—it can damage the trust and relationships of the person who made the introduction.

Ha yes! Just like the ‘pay to play’ scams…if you pay the promoter enough, you can get on the stage!🤦‍♂️
Okay it's official. The blue checkmark does make a difference.

A school holiday doesn't cause dysregulation. What does, is poverty, poor nutrition and parents having to work every hour under extreme stress just to keep a roof over their dysregulated childrens' heads. TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS CANNOT FIX EVERY FUCKING THING!

Benson Boone’s live performance at the Grammys is pure art, electric ⚡️. No autotune, no DJ playing song in the background, just pure masterpiece that was neatly delivered!! Watch with your headphones on.

Shoutout to everyone who's headspace will dip in the next 24h with dread about having to function as a proper human, concerned of the whereabouts of their lanyard, ability to teach, if the trousers will fit, and generally being around people. All whilst excited for routine again.

If you only expect children to be either good with their hands, or academic, don’t be surprised when they believe you. One of the worst snobberies. ‘My children will read The Iliad. *Those* children can learn how to mend my bathroom tiles.’ Tiling is fine. Literature is fine. But no child has either burned into their DNA. Their stories are written as they write, not before they were born.

Describing the arts as an outlet for ‘less academic students’ is patronising. Suggesting disadvantaged children can’t handle academic rigour is even worse! EVERY child deserves a well taught, ambitious curriculum that improves their life chances. This is just low expectations!

Nobody takes the job because they want to be the person standing at the front of a class shouting at kids to sit down. But plenty of good people end up there…
