You can't despise Andy Burnham enough.
🚨 NEWS: The British Government has committed another £54 million to help Ukraine through winter as households across the UK face continued pressure from energy bills.
The package, announced by Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, includes:
• £20 million for energy infrastructure repairs, generators and power supplies.
• £34 million for heating, water services and humanitarian support.
The Government's latest figures put total UK commitments to Ukraine at £25 billion.
With British families also facing financial pressures this winter, questions remain over how ministers balance overseas commitments with support at home.

THE FOREVER WAR
Your money. Their war. No limit.
£25 BILLION of British public money to Ukraine since 2022. And the billions keep going.
Who else wants a full, independent audit of every penny we've spent on Ukraine?
Where did it go? Who received it? Who profited?
Before Westminster signs another blank cheque, let's see the bloody receipts.

Sunderland was built by miners, shipbuilders and generations of hardworking patriots.
They broke their backs, risked their lives and sacrificed everything to give their children and grandchildren a better future.
So why are their descendants now treated with contempt in the very city their ancestors built?
Why should hardworking families put up with crime, declining communities and lectures from sanctimonious politicians and taxpayer-funded activists?
Our ancestors didn’t build this great city for their legacy to be trampled on by a political class completely detached from ordinary working people.
British people first. British industry first. Criminals punished. Our heritage defended. Taxpayers respected.
I’m not interested in appeasing the status quo and nor should I be.
Big shout out to the @LNER train manager on the 22.00 Newcastle bound train out of Waverley tonight. The train was filthy and had not been cleaned after it came out the depot before it’s return journey south. He cleaned the carriages, apologised and was great crack. Top guy 👏🏻👍🏻

Kevin Maguire on @bbcquestiontime, blaming the public again. Illegal migration is our fault. We’re racist. We’re scaremongering. Shut up, peasants.
“They’re fleeing terror. They’re coming here because we went there.”
So foreign policy is now an open-ended right to skip the queue. We went somewhere, therefore anyone from there can turn up illegally and stay. Convenient.
Legal migration, of course, is wonderful. They all work. They contribute hugely. Diversity heaven. Some even score for Sunderland. Repeat after him: diversity is our strength.
They’re in hotels, he says, because we won’t let them work. No. They come for the handouts, not the jobs. We often don’t know who they are, which is dangerous, and we don’t need more people competing for work and holding wages down. We need our own people in jobs.
Maguire’s real complaint is the standard of the free hotel and the fact they only get £10 a day. Not the boats. Not the cost. Not the vetting. The accommodation isn’t nice enough for people who entered illegally.
He finishes by telling you to stop “demonising and scaremongering”. Mention the crimes and you’re a racist, because they’re black and brown. The boats, the bills, the offending: none of it counts. Objection itself is the offence. Call the public bigots and the argument is over. That’s the whole routine.
Completely out of touch.
I’ve got more than one !

Slavery has been going on since they built the pyramids
In other words, the British didn't start it
On the contrary, they were the ones who stopped it
