According to Barak Ravid of Axios, the U.S. State Department has “informally” notified congress of a proposed $8 billion foreign military sale (FMS) to Israel. This FMS-case includes AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, 155mm artillery shells, AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) tail kits, and Mk-82 500-lb bombs. In a statement to Axios, and unnamed U.S. official said that “We will continue to provide the capabilities necessary for Israel's defense."
