Muse can create and automate tumor board ppt presentations directly from your iphone using images from your photostream. I’m impressed. Try it.

Tell it to create a powerpoint slideshow from your selected images. Tell it to fix color casts. Tell it to fix exposure of images with curves but don’t blow highlights or shadows. Tell it to fill the slide but don’t crop image. one image per slide.

Follicular adenoma with papillary architecture🤔 In the WHO 5th edition of Endocrine & Neuroendocrine Tumors, follicular adenoma with papillary architecture (FA-PA) is now recognized as a variant of follicular adenoma. ✅ Benign, encapsulated/well-circumscribed ✅ No capsular or vascular invasion ✅ Often a solitary “hot” (hyperfunctioning) nodule, more common in women 🔬Cystic with mixed papillary & follicular growth. Nuclear features of PTC are absent. 🧬Unlike conventional follicular adenoma (RAS), FA-PA frequently shows activating TSH-receptor mutations (~70%) and occasional GNAS mutations Dr. Scognamiglio #USCAP #PathX #pathology

It was almost 10 years ago when I diagnosed my first case of colchicine toxicity . Today, I saw my 2nd case. Gastric biopsy in a patient with nausea and vomiting. #Ringmitosis #gout

#GUpath TURBT from today's signout showing what I call "3/4 rule" of MP invasion (if tumor is three-quarters of the way around MP bundle but not technically IN bundle, I'll still call it MP invasion) for good measure, lower power shots show more typically pattern MP invasion

#GUpath TURBT, prior high grade pTa PUC yes there is some lovely PAX8 positive flat pattern nephrogenic adenoma, but you'll also notice background pTa PUC is ALSO PAX8 positive! (NA was p63 neg; PUC was p63 pos) ⏬cont'd⏬

Lung - Lepidic pattern and micropapillary pattern can show as a ground glass lesion on imaging That is why our job is to recognize the micropapillary pattern which is commonly missed (considered high grade, and any tumor with >20% of high grade component is considered poorly differentiated) Even 5% of micropapillary or solid pattern is associated with worse outcomes Classic micropapillary pattern (Pic 1) Not so classic presentations of micropapillary pattern (pic 2) Dr. Butt #JobPrepBootcamp #NIPCAP #pathology #PathX

What is your diagnostic criteria for cribriform Prostate cancer? Experts can disagree with what is cribriform. Here is cancer without basal cells (pin4 not shown). Looks cribriform to me. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/article… #pathology @slusagar #standardization
