$GLD Looking to probably cut some of my gold here to trade all-time highs again on the live account, we are clearing up so well on $nq recently, and recently also got my live switched to #deepcharts from NT, it might be time
$BB Nice to see us back to almost 10, I easily think this is my favorite position I hold, and I think it's an extremely good long-term hold, especially with how they are positioned for the future

It feels like every corner of the internet is trying to get you to gamble now.
Prop firm affiliate codes all over trading. Gambling streams on Kick. With Polymarket and Kalshi, even the news becomes another thing to put money on.
And I keep thinking about the person watching who has $100 they can spare this month.
They see someone throwing around thousands like it’s nothing. Suddenly $100 feels pointless. Maybe they need to risk $1,000. Maybe one big win could finally get them ahead.
The money they could afford to risk stops feeling like enough.
That concerns me a lot more than some influencer’s red day.
The prop firm affiliate can get paid when you buy the challenge, before you’ve made a single dollar. Your success isn’t a condition of that commission.
There’s so much money in selling that hope.
I love the trading game. I love business. I love creating content and figuring things out. Watching all of it get reduced to chasing the next quick payout is depressing.
People come into this wanting a better life. I hate seeing that turn into an endless search for something to gamble on.
If you follow me, I feel a responsibility to say something about it.
Please be careful with the people making big risks look easy. They don’t know what losing that money would do to your life.
Your $100 matters, even when somebody else’s stream makes it look like nothing.

Yesterday someone asked me about how I don't go on tilt, how do you "get past" it. I told him you don't get past it. The potential is always there. The moment you think it can't happen to you, you've lost already. Well, I do go on tilt, and I told him that one thing I do is to monitor myself. I stand up and walk away.
I also picture myself later in the day. When I have tilty/emotional trading days, even if I wound up in the green, I feel exhausted, stressed, and frankly a bit of shame. A grown man losing control of his emotions is not a good feeling. OTOH, regardless of the outcome, when I execute cleanly, don't overtrade, and objectively see the market as it is, later on I have a feeling of satisfaction. It's that simple.
Another thing I do is try to zoom out and see myself and coach myself as I would a fellow trader. Well, I have made quite a few execution errors on this EOM/EOQ day. It's choppy, algo-driven, not clean at all.
I found myself on the precipice of tilting and objectively looked at the character of the day and how poorly I've responded to that. What would I tell a fellow trader in this case? I'd ask him why he is trying to force something to happen when he knows it's beyond his control. I'd tell him to look objectively at what IS happening, not what he thinks is BOUND TO happen.
Then I'd tell him to go to lunch, come back with fresh eyes during the last hour, confidently put on risk if a trade idea into EOQ close presents itself. That's what I'm going to do. Thanks, coach! LOL :-)

Does anyone else think that this new propfirm gambling/seasonal pass shit is so dumb? Like, why does a prop firm need all of this #lucidtrading
