Copycat Mexican Pizza Ingredients: - 8 8-inch flour tortillas - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - 1 cup refried beans, warmed - 1 cup cooked Mexican-seasoned ground beef - ½ cup taco sauce - ¼ cup red enchilada sauce - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese - 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend - ½ cup diced tomatoes - 3 tablespoons black olives, sliced - 3 tablespoons green onions, chopped Instructions: 1. Prep and Fry Tortillas: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry each tortilla one at a time for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towel-lined plates. 2. Start Building the Base: Place 4 of the fried tortillas on a large baking sheet. Spread an even layer of warmed refried beans over each tortilla, then add a layer of the cooked Mexican-seasoned ground beef. 3. Add First Cheese Layer: Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the beef layer on each pizza. This helps hold everything together when you add the top tortilla. 4. Add Top Layer and Sauce: Place the remaining 4 fried tortillas on top of each pizza base. In a small bowl, mix the taco sauce and enchilada sauce together, then spread 2 tablespoons of this sauce mixture over each top tortilla. 5. Add Final Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and all of the Mexican cheese blend evenly over the sauced tortillas. Make sure to cover the edges well. 6. Bake and Garnish: Bake for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions. Cut each pizza into quarters and serve hot.

Boston Cream Cupcakes Ingredients: - ¼ cup granulated sugar - 1 tablespoon cornstarch - 1 cup whole milk - 2 large egg yolks - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract - 13.25 ounces yellow cake mix - 1 cup water - ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted - 3 large eggs - ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips - ¼ cup heavy cream - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Instructions: 1. Make the Pastry Cream: In a large saucepan, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and milk until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Let it simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat. 2. Temper the Egg Yolks: Slowly whisk a small amount of the hot milk mixture into the egg yolks to warm them up. Then pour this egg mixture back into the saucepan, whisking constantly to prevent scrambling. 3. Finish the Cream: Return the pan to medium heat and bring to a gentle boil. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla until smooth. Let cool to room temperature. 4. Bake the Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350°F and line two 12-cup muffin tins with paper liners. Mix cake mix, water, melted butter, and eggs until just combined. Fill liners halfway and bake for 15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. 5. Make Chocolate Ganache: Combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15-second intervals until chocolate melts completely. Sift in powdered sugar and let cool for 10 minutes until it thickens. 6. Assemble the Cupcakes: Use a knife to cut out the center of each cupcake about 1 inch wide and 1 inch deep. Fill each hollow with pastry cream using a piping bag or spoon. Top each cupcake with a generous dollop of chocolate ganache.

I don’t think she is. each hero on there represents something, it’s not just a popularity contest. Batman=face of DC (DETECTIVE comics), Superman=face of comic book heroes (nicknamed “the first superhero”), Wonder Woman= face of female heroes, Spider-Man=face of marvel.

Hot take from Japan: The greatest thing America ever sent us is Costco. Hear me out. Japanese homes are small. Our fridges are small. Our cars are small. So on a Saturday morning, a Japanese family squeezes into their tiny car, drives to Costco, and walks into a building roughly the size of their entire neighborhood. They see a 48-pack of toilet paper. They have nowhere to put it. They buy it anyway. They buy a box of muffins bigger than their kid's head. They buy a rotisserie chicken. Nobody knows where it's going to fit in the fridge. On the drive home, the kids in the back seat are buried under paper towels. Then something very Japanese happens. Back home, they split everything with the neighbors. Half the muffins go next door. The toilet paper gets divided between three families. Somebody's grandma receives a giant jar of peanut butter she will never fully understand. That's the thing about Costco in Japan. It was built for big American families. So Japan turned the whole neighborhood into one. America, thank you. Our apartments have never been this full. Or this happy.

TENDER GARLIC BUTTER BEEF WITH GOLDEN BABY POTATOES 🧄🥩🥔 "A little taste of homemade comfort in every bite" Ingredients: For the beef and potatoes: 1 kg beef chuck roast or stewing beef, cut into large pieces 700 g baby potatoes, washed 2 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp butter 1 large onion, sliced 5 garlic cloves, minced 2 cups beef broth 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp dried rosemary 1 bay leaf Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp cold water (optional, for thickening) Instructions: 1. Season the beef: Pat the beef dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. 2. Sear until golden: Heat olive oil in a heavy pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in batches until deeply browned on all sides. Remove and set aside. 3. Build the flavor: Reduce the heat to medium. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and the sliced onions. Cook until softened and lightly caramelized. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds. Stir in the tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary. 4. Create the rich gravy: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up the delicious browned bits from the bottom of the pot. Return the beef to the pot and add the bay leaf. Bring to a gentle simmer. 5. Slow-cook until tender: Cover and cook over low heat for approximately 2–2½ hours, or until the beef is becoming fork-tender. Alternatively, cook in a covered ovenproof pot at 160°C (320°F). 6. Add the baby potatoes: Add the baby potatoes to the pot, gently stirring them into the gravy. Cover and continue cooking for 35–50 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the beef is easily pierced with a fork. Cooking time will depend on the size of the potatoes and beef pieces. 7. Finish with garlic butter: Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Taste and adjust the seasoning. If you prefer a thicker gravy, stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer for 2–3 minutes until glossy and slightly thickened. 8. Garnish and serve: Remove the bay leaf. Sprinkle generously with fresh chopped parsley and spoon the rich garlic herb gravy over the beef and golden potatoes. Serving Suggestions: Serve hot with crusty bread, steamed green beans, or a fresh garden salad to complete this comforting meal. The Secret to Perfect Beef: Low, slow cooking allows the beef to become beautifully tender while absorbing the flavors of garlic, herbs, butter, and savory broth. Let the finished dish rest for 5–10 minutes before serving so the flavors come together beautifully. Enjoy!🧄🥩🥔

"How can you enjoy Avatar: The Last Airbender and have conservative opinions?" Idk, perhaps it's because ATLA is a hyper traditionalist show with a traditionalist main character and tons of deep religious/metaphysical/philosophical themes. Also, it's objectively good art.
