The older I get, the more I realize the people who win aren’t the most talented. They’re the ones who never gave themselves permission to quit on the hard days.

I’m 46. Trust me on this: Success comes down to distraction subtraction. To do great things, we must do fewer things.

Underrated life hack: If you want to be wealthy, be generous first.
Goodwill is worth 100X more than followers or fame or money because it actually changes someone's life.

Productivity hack: this tactical checklist saves me over 15 hours a week of work:
1. Use WisprFlow
2. Make a Never Again list
3. No more than 5 tabs open
4. Batch tasks into 90-min blocks
5. Unsubscribe from emails you delete
6. Leave group chats you’ve already muted
7. Use Cmd-K keyboard shortcuts in every app
8. Use a countdown timer before you start working on a project
9. Write out what you want to get out of every meeting before you attend
What is one thing you would add to this list?

5 personal rules I am living by right now to help me build my next billion dollar company:
1. Scroll less, read more: I’m convinced that short form content makes scrambled eggs of your brain. So I’m spending more time on longer-form content to retrain my focus: podcasts, audiobooks, longer written articles, and YouTube videos.
2. How you prepare shows just how much you care: The single most important decision I made for 2026 is that I would intentionally separate preparation from execution.
3. The Maker and Manager Dilemma: I break up my day into 2 parts: Opportunities in the AM, Operations in the PM. I give myself a chance to "make" in the morning when I’m fresher and "manage" in the afternoon when I have context.
4. Harshness has no redeeming quality: Humanity and kindness creates an environment for other people to succeed. Start fewer sentences with "I" and replace it with "we", and default to asking for opinions more than sharing your own.
5. Be where your feet are: We live in a world where our focus is constantly being attacked. Wherever you are, be there.
People outraged by Claude watermarking outputs don’t realize… we already know your content is AI with your constant emdashes, emojis, capitalized hashtags, negation-then-assertion, etc etc etc.
Airline ticket prices are wild.
On @AmericanAir
Aug 19-26 LAX to London = $1100
Sept 6-12 LAX to Vancouver BC = $1100 (no I didn’t book this - sadly had to take Air Canada)

A life hack I wish I knew sooner: Create tomorrow today.
Map out exactly what you’re going to do before the day begins. Other people’s priorities will fill your calendar for you if you don’t.

A pattern I’ve noticed: The more goodwill you put into the world without a price tag, the more it returns when you least expect it to.

I'm a sucker for productivity hacks.
But after years of testing every system, app, and framework out there, I kept coming back to this same 3-step process:
1/ Do a brain dump.
Productivity starts with a clean mental slate. Write down everything taking up space in your head. Tasks. Ideas. Problems. Commitments. Things you’ve been avoiding. Don't organize anything yet. Just get it all out.
2/ Sort everything into a "Start, Stop, Continue" list.
Start: new tasks that would move the needle.
Continue: tasks worth doubling down on.
Stop: tasks pulling you off course.
Once everything is sorted into these 3 buckets, focus on action.
3/ Execute with rules.
Start tasks: add them to your weekly planning session.
Continue tasks: schedule them on the calendar.
Stop tasks: go onto a Not-To-Do List.
The Not-To-Do List is the most valuable part of the system.
Every time you learn what doesn’t work, write it down and add it here. This list will become a set of personal rules that protect your time, energy, and focus.
The best productivity system removes stuff, it doesn’t add more. To do great things, we must do fewer things.

Do this today: create a list of habits you refuse to skip. A workout. A learning block. An hour of focused work. Your life changes dramatically when your most important habits stop being negotiable. It’s okay to suck, it’s not okay to skip.

Productivity Hack: Feeling overwhelmed is a priority problem, not a “to-do” list problem. A to-do list is busy. A priority list is productive.

1 piece of Advice to my 18-year-old self:
1. Toss the toxic people
2. Stop dating toxic women… stop letting toxic people drag you down… Stay out of toxic places… Give up toxic habits
Everything in life is easier when you spend more time with good people who want to lift you up rather than toxic people who want to drag you down.

Ignore AI at your own peril.
I’m hosting a Claude Code Bootcamp with one of my coaches on May 30 in Vancouver, BC.
It’s an 8hr hackathon where you’ll leave with custom automations and a full content machine that’ll save you at least 5 hours a week (probably more!)
It’s limited to 12 attendees and we have a few seats left. DM me to learn more.
The goal was never to be a $1M/year business owner.
The goal was to be present for my family and not hate Mondays.
I just thought revenue would get me there.
It doesn't. Systems do.
Most entrepreneurs don't have a business problem.
They have a life design problem they're trying to solve with more revenue.
More money won't fix a broken system!
