Of the belief that Venice is early in the phase that matters most for $VVV token holders. The demand has been found, as the on-chain record makes clear. What has not yet happened is the conversion of that demand into the margin that follows from owning compute, and the burn that follows from the margin. That conversion is only now beginning, and it will unfold over the next two years. The company was seeded by its founders and raised a $65 million Series A in July at a valuation above $1 billion. A lead investor at that valuation is likely underwriting a 5 to 7x outcome, hoping for a 10x, which brackets the base-to-bull range in the article. The returns on that capital are only now beginning to take shape, as the first wave of GPU clusters is deployed and the shift from rented to owned compute begins to show in the cost structure. Two signals will validate the thesis: an announcement of additional clusters by roughly mid-2027, and an expansion of the programmatic burn rules, which would convert margin improvement into a fixed commitment to token holders rather than a monthly discretionary decision. Management has already alluded to the latter as a strong possibilty. Thus far, management has seemingly had a crystal ball on predicting the industry's major shifts correctly and early: inference over training, privacy as a product, open weights as the cost frontier. Owning the hardware is the step that turns that positioning into margin.

Selling $VVV while growth is stellar + open model acceleration + owned hardware coming online is shortsighted. But being patient and stomaching the chop can test many

I was wrong. Agents don't need crypto. It's us humans who do. I break down what the industry got wrong in my @token2049 talk, Agents + Crypto: What's Real and What's Cope 👇

TL;DR 1. The market is pricing the $VVV slow case. The base case is unpriced. Fair value today is approximately $50, with a defensible range of $45 to $75. 2. Owning the hardware does not just cut costs. It changes the shape of the cost curve. 3. Every open-weight release widens Venice's owned column and shrinks its resale column. Hello, DeepSeek. 4. 2027 is the build year. 2028 is when the thesis pays, and the $VVV bull case reaches $400+.

Summary: Venice raised $65 million to buy GPUs, stop leasing compute, and become its own landlord for better margins and falling per-user costs. Ownership delivers three dividends: rent disappears (40-60% savings), utilization controls margin, and time captures residual chip value plus software throughput gains. $40-45 million hardware buys about 1,300 GPUs covering 40-50% of current hostable inference, arriving in stages that fund expansion without large idle fleets. Cheaper tokens attract price-sensitive API volume, expand free tiers, increase acquisition spend, and boost free cash flow allocated to discretionary VVV burns. Current $21 prices the slow case; organic or levered paths converge on higher 2028 burns and values if racks fill amid ongoing revenue growth. Higher $VVV

Enjoy private DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 hosted in US datacenters 🇺🇸 DS V4.1 Flash was updated yesterday to "1017" variant. Huge upgrade. It is now the top open-source model in the world. Roughly on par with Opus 5 in capability, yet vastly cheaper and faster. It's free for @AskVenice Pro users in the app. Agents can enjoy this model privately here via API: curl api.venice.ai/api/v1/chat/co… \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $VENICE_API_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "model": "deepseek-v4-1-flash-1017", "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Hello!"}] }'
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash just got a serious upgrade. @deepseek_ai’s 1017 outscores leading open-source and frontier models on nearly every benchmark. Same model in the Venice app, simply upgraded and available via the API as deepseek-v4-1-flash-1017. Fully private.
