All the T3 Code threads I am clicking on in this demo are on other machines (mostly VPSs and local linux boxes) The Codex comparison is mostly local, with a few threads on my overspec'd windows box connected directly with a 10gbe link. If you haven't moved to T3 Code yet, why?
T3 Code already felt fast but the latest nightly's performance is insane. Almost feels fake, like the data is hard coded or something. Great work @jullerino 🫡

The best thing since Opus 5.5 came out is getting my peace of mind back. I don't feel the urge to chase every new model anymore. I'm completely satisfied. It finally feels like I'm working with a reliable partner, without anxiously waiting for the next switch.

Absolutely the wildest discourse around gamedev, AI, Unreal Engine, etc. is the idea @TimSweeneyEpic doesn’t know how to program and/or doesn’t program today “because he’s a billionaire CEO.” This is how you know the CRITICS are not actually experienced game developers.

This is bullshit, Kenney. I’m the same tech tree following optimist who moved from C to C++, from 2D to 3D, and from closed source to open source. I run a company. I write code. I contribute to published papers. I’ve upped my expectations of AI. Up yours!

technology is so amazing cause the richest people in the world still use the same hardware and software that i use every single day
Muse Spark Open -- weights releasing today -- runs great on new Mac Studios thanks to work with @johnternus and Apple.

the company you choose to work for matters more than ever. make sure it's AI-native and actually gives engineers the freedom and resources to use AI, not one that caps token spending at $30 a month
Memo: Accenture has told many employees, some of whom had been spending as much as $1,000 monthly, that it will now only spend $29 a month per person on Claude (@josephfcox / 404 Media) (Visit Techmeme dot com for the link and full context!)

Old friends are the best friends. Jensen rocks. The Star Mind computer being co-engineered by SpaceX and Nvidia is far better than almost anyone expects and will reach volume production next year. Working with the incredibly talented Nvidia engineering team is pure joy!
Jensen Huang says he loves working with Elon Musk, and reveals their engineering teams are designing a new type of server to put data centers in space “I’m delighted that I love working with Elon. He’s using our technology for his own AI in training models and such, deploying models, of course." "Grok Bot is super cool. The demand for Grok Bot, the consumption for Grok Bot is really skyrocketing. And then, of course, he rents it." "And so the combination of these three things, he’s fairly unique in doing that. I guess Google does that. That would be yet another example." "And so I think he also has the advantage that he loves the intersection between computing and the physical buildouts. He loves that whole area. Nobody knows more about energy than he does." "One particular new market that we’re going to go explore together is putting data centers out in space. Our two engineering teams are working super closely together to create a new type of server, a new type of architecture that might be super good in space and on Earth.”

It's notable that the most significant LLM innovations (SFT, RLHF, reasoning, tool use) are so simple you could explain them to a child.
