Yesterday I tested OpenAI Ads for my app.
$27 → 12 clicks. That's $2.25 per click, zero installs to brag about.
Solo dev lesson: paid ads won't fix distribution you haven't figured out yet.
Has anyone actually made OpenAI Ads work?

What is your biggest fear being an indie developer? #indiedev
Mine is that I will not be able to get money from the projects and had to stay 9-5 forever

Stop strapping helmets on your 12-year-olds.
Helmets are useless if there’s nothing inside to protect.
⠀
Instead of forcing rules, teach why they matter.
Blind obedience won’t save them when you’re not around.
Raise thinkers, not robots.
If your kid removes the helmet the second you're out of sight — you’ve taught obedience, not understanding.
And obedience fades the moment you’re not watching.
Preventing a big ball of mud by drowning it in tests—my test suite's bigger than the production code. #buildinpublic #flutterdev
