Why @TMobile? Why make things such a pain when you’re just giving me the money back anyway?! I’ve been with you 16 years but I think it’s time to make a change.
@TMobileHelp Your customer service just hung up on me when I corrected them with their nonsense. It clearly shows I can use my yearly upgrade and also get the $1200 credit promo over 24 months. They tried to tell me I couldn’t. Do you not teach them basic math???
17 pro max $599 balance paid by you.
18 pro max $1299-$369= $930($38.75 x 24mo)
Promo credit $1200 ($50 x 24mo)
$50-38.75 =$11.25 per month credit x 24mo is $270…. $369 - $270 =$99.00 (18pm promo and full price difference)
It’s clear as day and they couldn’t understand it.

I’m with @TheAhmadOsman at this point. All their data harvesting has gotten ridiculous. This goes far beyond just ads.
Like he says, buy GPU’s!
Just start incrementally and you’ll have your own cluster before you realize it.
> be OpenAI
> hire a small army of ex-Facebook ad and monetization people
> literally has a Slack channel just for ex-Meta staff
> brings in the full “targeted ads” playbook
> launch “Pulse”
> reads your chats while you sleep
> remembers you wanna visit Bora Bora
> knows your kid is 6 months old and
> “thinks” of your baby milestones
> suggests developmental toys next
> “it's for your convenience 🥺”
> actually laying the groundwork for targeted ads using memory
> internal memo: some people already think ChatGPT shows ads
> OpenAI staff: “might as well then”
> congrats, you’re back in the Facebook era
> except this time, you’re training the algo yourself
There's a new version of this post
How can you not use a company that’s also pushing things forward while also running their business!
@HotAisle is cooking!
Now I can say I contributed to PyTorch. Very very very very small contribution, but still counts. 😎

Dude is right, we should all care far more about this.
Ive always had a theory this is purposeful, allowing children to sour their futures sharing too much, to distract them from everything that matters to keep them controllable. Not to mention it robs them (and adults) of their ability to be happy with themselves.
I believe it’s far more sinister than we could imagine.
This dude can’t be serious with this dumb shit.
