The proposed deal would increase Botswana鈥檚 shareholding from 15% to about 25%, helping to clear a key hurdle in Anglo American鈥檚 long-running plan to exit the business. The Global Diamond Consortium, which includes investors and the governments of Namibia and Angola, remains the preferred bidder. Botswana 馃嚙馃嚰 has been selected as the host market for Southern African investors seeking to participate in the IPO of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Africa鈥檚 largest oil refinery. The IPO aims to raise $1.6 billion, with the total potentially reaching $2.1 billion. The funds will support a planned $14.3 billion expansion to double the refinery鈥檚 capacity to 1.4 million barrels per day. Kenya has also approved access for East African investors, while Uganda has allowed participation mainly for professional and high-net-worth investors.

Find someone worth studying 3-4 Years back, I decided to look closely at President Cyril Ramaphosa and his associates The goal is to track the money, investment opportunities, trade deals, business ties, funds, charity and services I've grown to really appreciate each government office, like trade, logistics, minerals and stats South Africa has so many offices filled with skilled people who take pride in their work Now that I've done most of that work, I find myself drawn to the President of Botswana I've started studying Botswana the same way I did South Africa, as part of a three-year journey I've watched people in his administration and listened to how they talk There's something unique about every single one of them What's puzzling is how they communicate and the depth of their education, where even when they speak casually, you can tell they deeply understand what they're talking about
