I'm picking back up a project I started in 2017 (I set myself a deadline of 2037 at the time). Playing around with this demo of abstract interpretation I wrote 4 years ago. I have no idea how it works anymore, and it's probably very inefficient, but keen to dive back into it!

I finally released an upgrade of Preview.js to Vite 6. Very impressed with the effort to stay backward-compatible, I didn't have to change one line of code 😍

Multilingual toddlers are very confused. I ask a question in French, I get the answer in a mix of English and Mandarin 🙃

I really like the idea of @clerk but I don't understand why they don't make it easier to have a "sign in or sign up" flow, i.e. "if you already have an account, sign in, otherwise sign up" ☹️

Instead, users are forced to choose between "Sign in" and "Sign up" buttons, adding unnecessary cognitive load and UX bloat. Or perhaps I'm missing something?

When you have a flaky test, the correct approach is to delete the flaky test *and* all code for the feature being tested. That's how you know the issue is definitely gone!

Managed to teach our 2 yo toddler to move her legs forward and back on the swing so she's self-propelled, and she now does it instinctively 🚀
