ALT “The events of the last week sit heavy in our hearts. As a charity that champions safe and accepting spaces for all, and the power of youth work to unite - we've watched in horror as hate has torn through our country. We stand against discrimination and violence. The strength of our communities comes from our diversity, and we find hope in those standing up peacefully to unite against intolerance” Jamie Masraff, CEO, OnSide

Uplifting to hear Jay from Dagenham on @bbcr4today explaining how @futureyz both helps young people find a purpose and has transformed the wider community.
Filling a void with positivity is so simple and a solution is ready.
Will the next government go for it?
When they’re asking for your vote, ask the politicians if they back a decent youth facility in every town.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Marks Gate Community Hub and the amazing volunteers who go the extra mile to support residents through this really difficult time.
This is a friendly warm space where you can meet people, have a cuppa and stay warm ❤️
