On his upcoming album 'Doggone,' Jeffrey Silverstein channels his own cosmically rich blend of dream pop, alt-country, slacker rock, and supremely mellow folk. Check out a premiere of his tune "Helluva" and read our conversation with the PNW artist:

Sometimes Jeffrey Silverstein uses words, delivering them in a low, Bill Callahan-esque drawl. Other times, he let’s the music do the talking...

“Patchouli” features plenty of hallmarks of @futuremyth’s work, though it also sees him drifting into the gently propulsive world of krautrock

Gorgeous atmospheric new instrumental by Jeffrey Silverstein, part of the musical movement that some are calling “Ambient Americana,” full of dreamy pedal steel guitar, the music you’re praying you’ll hear when you’re driving across the Mohave desert.

Jeffrey Silverstein - Antelope Canyon (2020)
Portland artist who combines country and Americana elements with ambient music. I love the repeating simple bass and drums on this one paired with the watercolor wash of the pedal steel guitar.
