I gotta tell you, I can’t get over it, John Harbaugh’s attitude towards the New York media is REALLY pissing me off… let me tell you why:
1. I’m a classically trained sports journalist - we are taught, be polite & respectful & professional with the coaches
2. From the other side, the league doesn’t EXIST without the media historically, no teams get any publicity, no players get any publicity, pro sports don’t exist without media coverage & hype
3. I can tell you that Coaches are also warned - do NOT piss off your local media because they will publish hit pieces and they will dig shit up on you that you do NOT want out in the open
Yet Harbaugh continues to treat NY media like little ants he wants to step on. Disgusting. Really disgusting.
Malik Nabers is the first Giants player since 2015 to have back to back games with 100+ receiving yards and a touchdown. The last player to do it? Odell Beckham Jr.

you can talk about the late game botch, but Dan Quinn screwed up the game for the Commanders well before that
first half, Quinn went 22% man coverage & 50% 2-high (#5 highest)
held Jameis Winston 4.5 YPA, 44% comp & -0.58 EPA/att

but in the second half, despite losing, the Giants went WAY more heavy personnel, dropping 11 personnel from 43% to 25%
...but they passed out of it (of course they would, they were down 2 TDs)
but Quinn matched personnel & played 43% man coverage (#5 highest) & 18% 2-high

I think you can do this while still getting Ricard 33% of the snaps. For example can sacrifice some of the 11 personnel and use 20 personnel , force teams to play nickel and run the ball with Ricard still on the field.
The Giants rank 1st in EPA when using 12 personell. They only run it 17% of the time, partly because they use 21 and 22 personel (with Patrick Ricard) a combined 33% of the time. Would like to see a more even share of 12 and 22/21 personnel (25% and 25%???)
So the rams decided they wanted to go with a thinner kicker than the thicker kicker but the real kicker is that theirs a 90 pound weight difference between the 2 kickers!
