Future Folklore is building the paranormal industrial base. β at Manhattan, NY
The next technology revolution will come from places that look less like defense contractors and more like monasteries, archives, and hidden rooms full of strange instruments and devoted practitioners.
Let's build the paranormal industrial base.

.@Blerim_Reka weaves decades of scholarship and statesmanship into a compelling vision for Kosovoβs flourishing.
Following our meeting last week, @EKaretny of @RBIIS will host the Ambassador for a talk at the institute in early December.

"A single blade of grass is more advanced technology than rockets, medicine and quantum computers." β at Manhattan, NY
Every cell on our planet has come from other cells. A single blade of grass is more advanced technology than rockets, medicine and quantum computers. We cannot even come close to creating cells from scratch. And then lets talk about brains, we don't even know how memories are stored or why we sleep!
I think it's pretty safe to assume that consciousness is much more complicated than a model you can run on a few couple year old gpus.

Could evidence of ancient alien technology be hiding in Moon dust? ππ¬
Researchers are proposing a new way to search for technosignatures: examine lunar regolith for microscopic pieces of engineered material that could have crossed interstellar space and accumulated on the Moon over billions of years.
On the next #SETILive, SETI Institute Deputy Director of the Carl Sagan Center Dr. Simon Steel talks with lead author and SETI Institute Affiliate Scientist Dr. Lewis Pinault about the proposal, why the Moon could preserve a unique record of Galactic history, and what we could learn even if the search finds nothing.
