Love hearing Monica McNutt and Alan Hahn be like, “The Knicks didn’t play their best basketball and besides the Knicks were celebrating while the Sixers had a point to prove” Championship teams on ring night were 63-16 before last night… 80% win percentage. Biased AF

Sad to see it as it impacts the lives of many good people. DM is open if anyone needs support or if I can be a referral. EG is to date the only organization I’ve worked with in esports which punished me for raising concerns over the well-being of their player(s). (“GamerDoc”)

And this is why you are “Steph Curry Muse”
Everyone’s gonna hype Philly cause they won but that team is gonna have some issues this season. Jaylen browns not gonna be happy being a 3rd option. + VJ Edgecombe doesn’t wanna be averaging 9 points per game and barely touch the ball.

Sixers shot a lower 3pt % btw
Difference is the Knicks didn’t make open shots lol

People using EG to explain how esports isn’t a sustainable business model have completely missed the point.

This please.
If EG want to prove they're so awesome: give the brand back to Alex Garfield. You're not using it anymore. Go on, do it.

Yeah my ultimate takeaway is fuck Nicole LaPointe Jameson for being an absolute piece of trash and fuck Peak6 for actively encouraging her behavior. Very illegal shit they got away with and will never see repercussions from it meanwhile real people got VERY hurt because of them.
Good riddance. This reincarnation of EG was a skin suit inhabited by demons. It was profoundly stupid, morally corrupt, disrespectful of the brand’s history, and never atoned for its appalling abuses. Behind the scenes EG created an environment that tormented employees, burned sponsors, and was shockingly misandrist.

Thank you Chris from the bottom of my heart. I know you tried your best. BleedBlue 💙
There's no words that can describe the heartache and size of the pit in my stomach on this day. EG is a very special brand with an incredible history and a wonderful group of people behind it who put everything they had into this org. You can always look back and think about the should have's and could have's, but I am proud of what we were able to rebuild over the past few years and the successes we had, from celebrating 25 years of EG to introducing Meesh to re-entering Game Changers to launching Gridlock to a creator roster to new titles like UNITE, EA FC, and Delta Force to re-entering FGC and so many more. VCT - thank you for carrying the torch for EG. It was incredible to watch your growth this year through all the highs and lows. I know you will all find success in VCT going forward. To potter specifically - thank you for everything. You are the best and it's been a pleasure having you here to rep EG since 2021. Pho & supa - you have both been here for what feels like forever. Thank you for always being terrific people, supporters, players, and everything in between. VCL - Developing talent was something we always believed in and you were such a strong showcase that there's a lot of incredible VAL players out there. Keep working, your time is now. GC - It was an honor to support you all this year. Way to overcome a lot to nearly qualify for GCC. Next year is your year. Noon - You have been such a terrific representative for us getting back into the FGC. You are an amazing talent who was always down for things. Whatever game you touch you seem to dominate. Delta Force - I hope you all can stick together, there's something special with the three of you. Thank you for taking a chance with us and bringing EG to a new title and showing the world how great you are. UNITE - This was a fun year watching you travel the globe repping EG. So many close moments but you made us proud and I hope you all find success at the Aeos Cup. K1john - EA FC was a new one for us this year and you really showed up. The eMLS cup was a battle, thank you for repping us and AustinFC. To all our teams and players, I'll be rooting you on in the future. MrsChimChim - you are a gem. You were always down to jump in on events and content and had such a great attitude. Best of luck with Worlds this year. Couriway - Thank you for bringing us into the Minecraft community. Launching Gridlock and seeing your 10k speedrun live were two incredible moments for me. Royall - the 👑  - your attitude and engagement with everything EG was second to none. Thank you for jumping in feet first and being a part of it all. d1ve - Even with your tips, I'll probably stay silver but thank you for bringing your genius to the community. f0rsaken - I appreciate all you did to support EG's growth in a brand new region and your dedication to our brand. FNS - Thank you for coming on this year and being a part of a special ride with this season of VCT. It was amazing to see your genuine enthusiasm and support for our squad. Edward Kim - Your financial literacy and economic education content was a great new addition. You have a bright future. To all of our team behind the scenes: you are the most passionate and dedicated people I've ever worked with. You all are the reason for so many of our wins. Thank you to all the fans, sponsors, and people who were part of this journey. EG's legacy stretches far back and there were so many amazing moments, people, teams, and content that forged it before us. It was an honor to be a part of it.

It has changed quite a bit over the years since I was apart of it, but I always hoped EG would bounce back from all the setbacks. So many of us were optimistic to see what LPJ might do. She fucked it all up and left Chris a hole he was gonna have a hard time getting the brand out of. Thanks for trying Chris. Sad day for anyone who ever bled blue. GG.

For as much as Pete bragged about running a successful business he sure didn’t do his due diligence on researching the NA CS2 esports landscape before investing his money into it. If he had - things could’ve turned out differently.

Ok this part makes zero sense and now I do question why he played after seeing this part of the report. That much sleep deprivation can have a similar effect to being drunk in terms of awareness and neuromuscular control. There’s nothing inherently dangerous about sleeping while having a superficial clot. Immobility (venous stasis) can cause clots to get worse, but that’s why you are often advised to just sleep with the leg elevated. I’ve NEVER heard of someone being told to avoid sleep after a superficial blood clot diagnosis and the short term effect of that sleep deprivation is a terrible thing to play football with.
Jalen Hurts reportedly went roughly 36 hours without sleep after doctors diagnosed him with a superficial blood clot in London and advised him not to sleep as a precaution. He still started against the Jaguars, throwing for 220 yards and a TD. (@TomPelissero)

Even as a diehard Sixers fan I really do like Mazzulla a lot. This is fantastic advice for really anyone in a management position, ideally this is how a workplace environment should be run.
Joe Mazzulla has been practicing what he preaches at the Boston Celtics… He’s been handing over coaching responsibilities. Giving his assistants opportunities to lead. Giving veteran guard Mike Conley responsibility for managing substitutions. Allowing people to experience decisions, uncertainty and responsibility from a different perspective. I love this. Because coaches often talk about wanting more leadership from their players. Ownership. Accountability. Independence. But here’s my question… What opportunities are you actually giving your players to develop these qualities? Leadership doesn’t magically appear because a coach demands it. Leadership needs to be developed. Through experiences. Through conversations. Through decision-making. Through responsibility. And, importantly, through mistakes. Think about it… When a coach makes every decision, provides every answer, and solves every problem, what are the players learning? Perhaps they’re learning to become dependent. Perhaps they’re learning to wait for instructions. Perhaps they’re learning that leadership belongs to somebody else. Now contrast that with a coach who deliberately creates opportunities for players to think, communicate, collaborate, and make decisions. A coach who asks questions rather than immediately providing answers. A coach who gives players responsibility and then helps them reflect. That’s a coach developing independent competitors. And independence matters enormously in sport. Because when the whistle blows, players must perceive, decide and act. They must respond to changing circumstances. They must communicate and coordinate. They must take control and take charge. So here’s a challenge for coaches… Don’t simply demand leadership. Design opportunities for leadership. Evrty day of every week, and in every training session. Because the best leaders don’t just lead…the best leaders create more leaders. *********************************** There’s a great source here on the work of Coach Mazzulla: buff.ly/Tt9oCJ7

The Sixers genuinely might win a regular season game before the Flyers…

Wait the players knew EG wouldn’t keep hold of the roster before they played in Champs? I don’t remember that being common knowledge off the top of my head. I’d guess it was driven by Nicole but technically some of the players could’ve wanted to join bigger brands earlier.
🎙️ jawgemo 🇰🇭 on G2’s 🇺🇸 last dance: “All the news about the roster changes kind of helped us out in one way. That’s the obvious elephant in the room. I mean, it is our last run as a team. It kind of reminds me of the EG days, where I knew it was the last run right after Masters Tokyo. It’s all we have left, and because of that buff, it’s the last dance and we are going to keep doing it.” (Sheep Esports interview, Oct 11)

Hadn’t played Warframe in 10 years and am very much still in what’s considered today as “early game” content. But I’m enjoying it a lot even if I’m not moving at a rapid pace. People seem to be very helpful when it comes to learning the game and the world building is fantastic.
