๐ŸŒ Turn fiat payments into stablecoins cross 113+ countries. Today, weโ€™re launching ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜€ on DFNS, starting with @borderlessxyz. Until now, bringing fiat into a stablecoin operation meant leaving the platform. Separate portals, manual wallet mapping, and reconciliation between bank statements and blockchain transactions. That changes with Payins โœ”๏ธ Now, you can: 1๏ธโƒฃ Select the wallet where your stablecoins should arrive. 2๏ธโƒฃ Enter the amount, country, and payment method. 3๏ธโƒฃ Review the quote and sign with a passkey. 4๏ธโƒฃ Send fiat to the bank details provided. โœ… Done! Any stablecoin in your wallet. Through one API, we connect you to 19+ locally licensed payment providers, such as Cobre, Capa, Triple-A, Stripe, MoonPay, Walapay, and more, across 72+ currencies. USD, EUR, GBP. MXN, BRL, COP, ARS. NGN, KES, ZAR. INR, PHP, AED. No FX markups. A flat platform fee. Funds settle directly with the providers. On DFNS, every payin has a status, an audit trail, and a destination governed by the same policy engine as the rest of your operations. Thatโ€™s what onchain core banking is for. ๐Ÿ“– Read it: dfns.co/article/payins โŒจ๏ธ Start building: app.dfns.io/get-started

On September 24, @bitget lost $387.5 million. But no key was stolen. The attacker took control of the server that told the signer what to sign, and the signer obeyed. Our CISO, Thibault de Lachรจze-Murel, breaks down the Bitget hack: ๐˜ž๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ฑ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ, ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ฉ ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ด ๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ, ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ฆ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ฌ๐˜ด ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ. Based on interim reports from @Mandiant and @SlowMist_Team, hereโ€™s what happened: โ†’ A flaw in a third-party security product gave the attacker access 24 days before the theft. โ†’ A reused employee identity opened the way to the wallet server. โ†’ A withdrawal tool bypassed its own risk checks. โ†’ Bitgetโ€™s wallets signed the transfers as legitimate withdrawals. โ†’ $203 million moved across five chains in nine seconds. โ†’ Signing continued for 2h39 after the alert. Bitget stopped customer withdrawals, not the attacker. The problem wasnโ€™t key storage. It was who the signer trusted. ๐Ÿซ† The signer checked where the request came from, not whether it was authorized. It had no proof that a person approved the transfer or that the destination and amount matched the approved instruction. You can reduce this risk by: โœ”๏ธ Checking authority, not just origin. โœ”๏ธ Separating policy decisions from systems an attacker could compromise. โœ”๏ธ Requiring a client-controlled credential. โœ”๏ธ Limiting the warm tier with allowlists, quorums and velocity limits. โœ”๏ธ Practising how to stop signing independently of customer withdrawals. But no vendor can eliminate every risk. Our analysis explains what providers can prevent, what clients must control, and what risks remain. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Questions? ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Koreaโ€™s digital asset rules start with banks. That means network segregation, data kept in Korea, and strict controls to protect usersโ€™ assets. Today, weโ€™re partnering with FairSquare Lab to make that possible. FairSquare Lab provides blockchain technology to the KDX consortium, co-founded Koreaโ€™s first dedicated digital asset custodian, and helps lead initiatives for won stablecoins and cross-border FX settlement. Its platform, Sphere, is built on @dfnsHQ. Together, weโ€™re building wallet and custody infrastructure designed to run inside Korean financial institutionsโ€™ own environments. โœ”๏ธ On-premises deployment integrated with the bankโ€™s HSMs. โœ”๏ธ Offline signing for networks separated from the internet. โœ”๏ธ Local data control, keeping wallet and transaction data in Korea. โœ”๏ธ Bank-defined controls, with approval workflows, transaction limits and a full audit trail. โœ”๏ธ A path to custody, as Koreaโ€™s regulatory framework develops. DFNS provides the core banking platform for digital assets. FairSquare Lab brings local integrations and deep knowledge of Korean banksโ€™ security and compliance requirements. As FairSquare Lab CEO Joonhong Kim puts it: โ€ ๐ŸŸข Available today. ๐Ÿ‘ฅ Most access controls don't fail in a breach. They fail quietly through drift. On most platforms, approval policies name specific people. So when someone joins or leaves a group, like the โ€œtreasury team,โ€ an admin must manually update every policy that mentions them. Do that for a year and you end up with dozens of hand-maintained user lists that no one fully trusts. Today we're introducing ๐—จ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—š๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฝ๐˜€, so that never has to happen again. A User Group is a named team the platform understands. โœ”๏ธ Assign permissions to the group and every member inherits them. โœ”๏ธ Name the group as the approver and the quorum is drawn from that team. โœ”๏ธ Someone joins? Add them to the group once. โœ”๏ธ Someone leaves? Remove them once. Every policy and permission self-updates. You can create a group with the same name as the one in your identity provider, and from there we follow your IdP (e.g. Okta, Microsoft) at every login. A match adds the user, an absence removes them, including for admin access. Because a group is a way to grant power, it's also governed like one: โ†’ Adding someone to a privileged group grants the same rights as assigning them directly โ†’ Deleted group names stay reserved and canโ€™t be recreated with different rights โ†’ A floor guard prevents removing the last administrator, directly or through group deletion โ†’ Every membership change is signed, audited, and traceable The org chart and the platform now say the same thing, and your auditors can prove it. That's what onchain core banking is for. ๐Ÿ“– Read it: dfns.co/article/user-groups โŒจ๏ธ Start building today: app.dfns.io/get-started

This post officially wraps up our #SoterInsureAsiaTour2026. We spent ten days across Seoul, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with five speaking engagements and plenty of interesting conversations along the way. I'm now in the UAE until October 14 to catch up with the team, and wanted to share my perspective on what we saw across the three markets: 1. One of the most interesting signals from Korea Blockchain Week came from an insurer. Kyobo Life, one of Korea's established life insurers, shared its perspective on moving from traditional to on-chain finance. Worth paying attention when a traditional insurer is working through that transition itself. 2. My own speaking engagements in Seoul focused on the risks behind that shift: stolen funds moving through stablecoin markets, and losses when things go wrong in DeFi. ๐’๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ'๐ฌ ๐๐“๐‚-๐๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„๐“๐‡-๐๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐š๐๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐œ๐ก๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž: matching insurance to the currency of the underlying exposure. We've started sharing video clips on that from my Seoul talks, beginning with Solana Summit. I also really enjoyed joining Robbie Nakarmi of Further Ventures, one of our investors, at RealFi x Asia Stablecoin Conference. Great to bring a bit of the UAE to the Korean audience together! 3. Hong Kong. In April, the HKMA granted its first two stablecoin issuer licenses to HSBC and Anchorpoint, out of 36 applications received in its initial batch. Licensing provides the regulatory foundation, but institutions also need insurance capacity to protect against custody, crime, and other digital asset risks. It was especially good to see Lawrence Chong, who has just joined us to lead partnerships and distribution across APAC from HK. 4. And finally Singapore, where the number of established companies and new entrants continues to impress. MAS made a timely point this week: scaling tokenized finance beyond pilots requires common standards, interoperability, and sound risk management. That is where commercial adoption gets real. Our work at Soter is concrete: underwrite digital asset risks on their own terms, expand the capital available to cover them, and structure policies in BTC or ETH when those are the assets at risk. Institutions need to know what is covered, what isn't, and who takes the loss when something goes wrong. Thanks very much to the organizers, partners, and everyone who made the trip worthwhile. Looking forward to building on these conversations. @soter_insure . Ensuring Trust.

๐Ÿ†• @dfnsHQ now supports @circle's CCTP on @StellarOrg. The world's largest cash-to-stablecoin network just got connected to institutional USDC liquidity everywhere from DFNS. Native USDC moves between Stellar in one governed transfer. The USDC that arrives is the same Circle-issued asset on both sides. No wrapped variant. No third-party bridge. No custodian in the middle. Now the flows that took two platforms run in one: โœ”๏ธ Collect USDC on Ethereum or Base, move it to Stellar, and pay out through their cash network. โœ”๏ธ Hold one USDC balance sheet and settle wherever with no liquidity pre-positioned on every network. โœ”๏ธ Deploy Stellar USDC on Solana or Ethereum when a counterparty requires it, bring it home for payouts Use the same DFNS integration as any other CCTP route: 1๏ธโƒฃ select Circle CCTP in Swaps 2๏ธโƒฃ pick your wallets, review 3๏ธโƒฃ sign with a passkey or an API call 4๏ธโƒฃ Stellarโ€™s address encoding and USDC precision are handled automatically. ๐Ÿ†• @dfnsHQ now supports @circle's CCTP on Arc. Just three weeks after Arcโ€™s mainnet launch, you can now move native USDC to and from Arc. USDC moves directly between Arc and every other CCTP-supported network. The USDC that arrives on Arc is native USDC and can be used to pay network fees. No wrapped tokens. No third-party bridge. No custodian in the middle. Flows that once required two platforms can now run in one: โœ”๏ธ Hold USDC on Ethereum or Solana, move it to Arc when a counterparty settles there, settle in under a second, then move the proceeds back to treasury. โœ”๏ธ Issue tokenized assets on Arc and fund subscriptions with USDC from any supported chain. โœ”๏ธ Settle on Arc and pay out on Stellar, with CCTP connecting the two. Circle Mint moves fiat in and out. CCTP moves USDC across chains. Arc handles settlement. Use the same DFNS integration as any other CCTP route: 1๏ธโƒฃ open Circle CCTP in Swaps 2๏ธโƒฃ select your wallets 3๏ธโƒฃ sign with a passkey or use an API call.
