Exactly a century ago this weekend, on 30 October 1926, Celtic signed a teenage goalkeeper from Wellesley Juniors in Fife.
John Thomson would go on to become one of the most revered players in our history.

He still won't be listened to by those who just want to hate him.
An erudite, honest, contextual and factual display of his lived experience and the "why" he doesn't wear a poppy.
I do, always have and will.
More of this type of interview, less Patridge-esque ragebait.

Someone needs to tell Falkirk that we've won 14/15 titles and are financially sustainable...
It's like that means nothing to them during this match!?

I always had a lot of time for Kevin Keegan as a player and as a man. Signed from Scunthorpe by Bill Shankly, initially as a midfielder, Keegan was on a princely £50 a week in 1971. He always had a fondness for Celtic, perhaps linked to his Irish ancestry & was a top player.

Aiden McGeady has taken aim at Derek McInnes over his claims about the "injustice" of losing out on the title to Celtic while still in charge of Hearts.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, he said: "The injustice has been mentioned a few times. What was the injustice? Was it a few contentious decisions, as he said?
"But at the end of the day, it was in your hands and you blew it. It was in your hands and you blew it. All you had to do was draw the last game of the season. Couldn't do it.
"So I can understand why you're going to put it down to, 'It's not my fault, it's not the team's fault, it's referees.'
"But, yeah, for me, that's you glossing over that."

David Hay's Celtic side of the mid 1980s was very capable from middle to front. Hay won the league and Scottish cup as manager of Celtic. He won the Norwegian title with Lillestrom, the first division with Livingston & Motherwell and also led Livi to an unexpected League cup win.

An interesting interview with Celtic manager Davie Hay from 1987. That season wasn't to end well for Hay, but you can see from his responses that he's a strong character who doesn't suffer fools gladly.
