We are witnessing a very sad moment in American history.
The President of the United States is aligning himself with the dictator of Russia, Vladimir Putin, to undermine the independence of Ukraine and its democracy.
Here are my thoughts:
I see our pal @noisedeluxe (aka Simon from Leeds power-poppers @thelasthurrah2) has released a new single "Awake Me".
This one delivers melodic 70s rock with a 90s anthemic vibe, wrapped in Simon's trademark tasteful production values. Check it out 👍

Five years ago we lost Neil Peart, genius drummer and lyricist with @rushtheband. I wrote and recorded this song to make some sense of the sad news. #NeilPeart

New music out today!
Two tunes recorded up in Sunlun @UKMusicCity
at FMHQ with David & Peter @fieldmusicmusic
A-side gives early Crazy Horse vibes, with big lyrical nod to @ChuckProphet
B-side is spacey with Astral Weeks swing...
I'm proud as hell ❤️

New music on its way in the form of two tunes recorded up in Sunderland @UKMusicCity with our friends @fieldmusicmusic - hitting @Bandcamp and streaming services on Friday 3 Jan 2025 👍
Gig 75/24 - back to @Nath_Brudenell for a night of swampy, good-time rock & roll from top-drawer tribute band Creedence Clearwater Revival Revival. Plenty of deep-cuts to satisfy the very enthusiastic sellout crowd. Shoutout to opener Rory Holl, superior acoustic toubadour 👍
It's good to hear new music from @noisedeluxe (side-project of Simon from @thelasthurrah2).
After recent synthy diversions Simon has returned to classic guitar pop territory, with a bright & jangly a-side and darker, psych-grooved b-side. Check it out!

Back to the Riverside today, more than happy with Boro 1 v 0 Millwall.
A long awaited clean sheet 👏 and standout performances from Jonny Howson, Sol Brynn and Rav VDB 👍
Another home win for my Dad's old shirt, played 5, won 5 😀

Just home from the Riverside after seeing Boro get back to winning ways, 3-1 vs Hull 👍
My Dad's shirt brought us good luck again - I've worn it 4 times this season and we've won all 4! Some great performances across the team. Shoutout to Dan @barlaser_97

Heads up folks, new music coming in early January, two songs recorded with our friends @fieldmusicmusic

Yeah, the sort of night when one George Michael just isn't enough 😉

Gig 74/24 - up to @FireStationSun for a fabulous fund-raising Live Aid night, showcasing a seemingly endless array of talented Mackem (and associated) musicians, established & emerging. Sellout show and tons of goodwill on display, brilliant night 👍
Nice one fellas ✊️ Purchased 👍
We have included an unreleased track from our sessions for >>>> called, ‘Stuck In The Way’ on the Palestine Solidarity Mix which is now available to buy on @Bandcamp…all proceeds go to this very important charity.

Gig 73/24 - up to @poprecsltd in Sunderland for the Young Musicians Project Xmas Social @we_make_culture
A great cavalcade of young musical talent, about 20 acts taking turns in performing to the enthusiastic sellout crowd. A brilliant showcase for the award-winning YMP 👏👏👏
Gig 72/24 - downstairs at @HPBCLeeds for another show on Billy Nomates' Undergrowth tour.
The whole tour is a sellout and deservedly so. Tor is a brilliant live performer and she's clearly loving playing with Mandy and Liam on bass & drums. Sounds great 👏

Gig 71/24 - over to a slighty feisty @thetradesclub to see FF fave Billy Nomates. Tor was fab as ever, a bit different from solo Billy, but still tons of energy and shadow-boxing. Loved hearing tunes from 'tape' and summat new ❤️
Support from Vice Vera 👏
