Starting a side project to learn more about robotics and plants.
Turned real plant scans from Botany-Bot (@funmilore @Ken_Goldberg) into digital twins that a reBot Arm from @seeedstudio can touch.
Currently brainstorming what to work on at the intersection. Ideas welcome!
Work led by @justkerrding and @KushtimusPrime on active gaze using an ego camera without wrist cameras. I like that they include an evals page that contains videos of the trials for the various tasks.
Almost all bimanual robots include wrist cameras. They add bulk, cost, and complexity, but are critical for performance. Are they really needed?
