Jackie Jr. never seemed to understand the difference between being around power and actually having power.
That's what makes moments like this so frustrating to watch.
Tony gives him opportunities, advice, and more patience than Jackie probably deserved. But Jackie keeps carrying himself like being the son of Jackie Aprile Sr. automatically gives him the same standing his father had.
It doesn't.
And Tony can see that immediately.
The interesting part is that Tony isn't simply angry because Jackie is being disrespectful. He's watching someone who reminds him of Christopher in some ways—young, ambitious, desperate to prove himself, but completely unable to understand the consequences of his choices.
Jackie wants the respect before he's earned it.
And in Tony's world, that's dangerous.
The tragedy of Jackie Jr. is that he keeps mistaking proximity to power for power itself.
Walt making breakfast here is almost sadder than anything he says.

That’s what makes the scene so good.
Walt can control a drug operation, manipulate people and take enormous risks…
but he can’t force his own family to sit down and enjoy breakfast with him.
