I just shared a new analysis of Japan’s hospital-operating medical corporations (FY2016–2022).
• Corporations decreased from 4,631 → 4,469
• FY2022 assets: 15.9 trillion JPY; revenues: 12.5 trillion JPY
• Smaller corporations were less resilient, especially during COVID-19

Report highlights the skyrocket, peak of highly cited COVID-19 research studies cidrap.umn.edu/covid-19/repo…
Our paper has been published. We evaluated the research trends of highly cited studies related to COVID-19 by conducting a bibliometric analysis. The total number of highly cited studies peaked at the end of 2021 and showed a downward trend until the end of 2022.
These findings suggest that as the #COVID19 pandemic evolved in the 3 years since its outbreak, there were important shifts in trends of the number and origin of high-profile COVID-19 studies. ja.ma/3P7jHod
