🇬🇧 THE POPPY IS RED. END OF. 🇬🇧 It grew on battlefields soaked in the blood of our fallen. It represents sacrifice, courage and remembrance. It raises vital funds for veterans and their families through the Royal British Legion. It is NOT a political statement. It is NOT a platform for the latest cause. And it does NOT need redesigning to suit anyone's agenda. White, purple, black, rainbow or political flags, whatever the cause, leave the red poppy alone. There are 364 other days to promote your causes. Remembrance belongs to the fallen. Not to politics. 🌹 KEEP THE POPPY RED. 🇬🇧 WE WILL REMEMBER THEM. 🇬🇧 #Remembrance #LestWeForget – at Clayhanger, England

Women make up two-thirds of the Unison membership. That's around a million female members. And their general secretary wants to trash their hard-won sex-based rights to indulge the feelings of a small number of men. Utterly inexcusable.

I'm getting a sick and tired of people knocking electric cars when they clearly don't know what they're talking about. I own two top-of-the-range EVs: a Jaguar and a Porsche. The acceleration is incredible, the handling is superb, and they both lo fantastic. Running costs are pennies, maintenance is practically non-existent, and neither has lost a penny. in value since I bought it. Honestly, my only complaint is that if i take a corner a bit too enthusiastical' they fly off the track and disappear under the sofa.

In Britain today, we have a de facto Islamic blasphemy law, ushered in by the Labour Government’s official “anti-Muslim hostility” definition. It is being enforced by the police, the courts and now the Government’s own counter-terrorism programme, Prevent. A programme tasked with stopping people becoming terrorists is being used by activists and extremists to silence legitimate criticism or mockery of Islam. In recent weeks, comedian @JohnCleese was referred to Prevent and faced calls from Muslim activists to have his Birmingham show cancelled over comments he made about Islam on social media. Reform UK Shadow Chancellor @RobertJenrick was reported to the Metropolitan Police and referred to Prevent after he called radical Islam the biggest threat to our country and called for the burqa to be banned on @danwootton’s show. Robert isn’t wrong, is he? Radical Islam is a threat. MI5 has said that Islamist terrorism is the biggest threat to Britain. Restore Britain leader @RupertLowe10 was reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards for linking Muslims and Pakistanis to the rape gangs, despite Baroness Casey’s report concluding that Muslim men of Pakistani heritage were disproportionately involved in these heinous crimes. Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary @NJ_Timothy was reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards by Labour MPs, branded “Islamophobic” and faced calls to resign from then Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer after criticising a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square. Reform UK was reported to the Equality and Human Rights Commission by 28 Labour MPs over its comments criticising Islam and the same mass Muslim prayer event. It was the Islamist website 5Pillars that broke all these stories. A Home Office unit, RICU, has even labelled the group a “subject of Islamist extremist concern”. These activists know what they are doing. The sinister weaponisation of Prevent will undermine public trust in the programme. We must not let an Islamic blasphemy law take root in Britain. I went on @BBCNewsnight and enraged all the usual radical-left loons stating these simple facts: ~1.85m foreign nationals claim £23 billion in welfare each year in Britain ~ 1.3m foreign nationals claim £11.9billion of Universal Credit Britain must put the British people first **Britains tax burden is the highest it’s been since the War (1948 to be exact)** If you want to lift people up, you have to create wealth. You have to incentivise work. Which means tax them less. Anyone who runs a business knows this. Since then, far-left X has launched a series of ad-hominem attacks. Some even saying these ideas are “extreme far-right” None of them have addressed the substance of my arguments. Instead they are trying to shame me for being in one of the most successful bands of last 20 years, whilst ignoring that I have one of the biggest independent politics podcasts in Britain. And ignoring that I’ve generated 10s of £millions in wealth and taxes for the economy, created 1000s of jobs, and built several successful companies. Likewise they think that I might be anything but immensely proud to be associated with my own dad, one of the most successful businessmen and generous individuals this country has produced since the War, and his association with GB News, officially the most viewed and trusted news channel in the country. He’s a hero. Thanks to Newsnight for having me!

Councillor Michael Fife Cook, the leader of the Reform UK group on Devon County Council, raised safeguarding concerns after a large prosthetic penis and literature promoting “chemsex” were displayed at an LGBTQIA+ event in Exeter Library, next to a children’s art and colouring area. The council then punished him for speaking out. Now, with the Free Speech Union’s backing, he is fighting back. The event took place on 19th October 2025 as part of Exeter’s Out There Queer Fest. One mother complained that she had been forced to explain to her six- and seven-year-old children what the prosthetic penis was doing there. A subsequent evidential review identified significant failings in relation to the event. On 28th November, Cllr Fife Cook emailed fellow councillors and council officers to express his concerns about the safeguarding of children. He wrote: “I think this makes it clear our council officers can’t be trusted in safeguarding children.” He also warned that the incident made councillors “complicit in promoting and encouraging sexualisation of children”. Rather than addressing his concerns, two senior council officers lodged complaints against him under the Council’s Code of Conduct. On 29th July 2026, Devon County Council’s Standards Committee found that he had breached the Code, including by bringing himself or his office “into disrepute”, despite the independent investigator not having identified that particular breach. The Committee ordered him to apologise in writing to the officers he had criticised and undergo training with the Council’s Monitoring Officer. He refused — and rightly so. An elected councillor should be free to raise concerns about safeguarding, challenge council officers and hold public authorities to account without facing disciplinary action for expressing an unwelcome opinion. With the backing of the Free Speech Union, Cllr Fife Cook is now challenging the Council’s decision. On 30th September, his solicitors, Sharpe Pritchard, sent Devon County Council a pre-action letter setting out four grounds of challenge: irrationality, a breach of his Article 10 right to freedom of expression, a failure to give adequate reasons and apparent bias. But Michael’s case is part of a much wider problem. Across the country, councillors are facing Code of Conduct complaints for social media posts, criticism of council policies and robust challenges to public officials. Time and again, we hear the phrase “bringing the council into disrepute”. The Free Speech Union has supported councillors including Steve Horner, Kelvin Wright, Dulcie Tudor and John Edwards, who have faced complaints arising from their political speech. Even when these complaints are dismissed, the process itself can become the punishment: months of investigations, legal costs, reputational damage and the chilling effect on other elected representatives who may think twice before speaking out. And the Government wants to give councils even greater powers to punish elected representatives. Under its proposed reforms, councils would be able to suspend councillors for up to six months, withhold their allowances and bar them from council premises. Two maximum-length suspensions within five years could result in disqualification from office. Imagine the consequences if these powers were used against councillors simply for expressing contentious political opinions or challenging the conduct of council officers. The Free Speech Union is supporting Michael’s legal challenge because we believe Codes of Conduct must not be weaponised to silence legitimate political speech. A victory could help protect councillors across England from similar disciplinary action. But litigation is expensive, and Michael will not be the last councillor who needs our help. Please donate to the FSU’s legal defence fund to help us fight Michael’s case and defend the right of elected councillors to speak freely on behalf of the people who elected them 👇

🇬🇧 This is proper British (oh hush you progressives) A 76 year old man is before the courts with a test of equality before the law! … pay attention. Timothy Miller was arrested for wearing a burka at an anti-migration protest. So he’s turned up to court wearing it AGAIN! Because Section 157 of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 provides a defence for face coverings worn for religious observance… It doesn’t say ONLY women. It doesn’t say ONLY Muslims. And the Equality Act protects religion or belief, while Article 9 protects the freedom to CHANGE religion. And clever Mr Miller says he’s “exploring Islam” So now the court is screwed (not a legal technical term) and must decide whether his actions qualify as ‘religious observance’ Because the law must be applied EQUALLY, regardless of sex, religion or political opinions. He’s challenging whether equality before the law really means equality for EVERYONE. (I think I love him) And I think that’s bloody brilliant!.. now we have to see if the law is going to show its cards! … Will it discriminate against this white man? exploring his religion? … of course it will. And then you will know … that this brave man took one for the team. Come on Team Britain 💣

£1,700 OF IMAGINARY STAMPS You run a small post office. One morning the computer says you hold £1,700 of stamps that sit nowhere in your branch. No delivery came. You ring the helpline. The helpline says.. pay. That happened to Scott Darlington in 2008. He paid £850 a month for 2 months, taken straight from his pay. The Post Office offered no investigation. Customer service at its finest. Scott Darlington ran the Alderley Edge branch of @PostOffice in Cheshire from 2005 to 2009. A subpostmaster is the person who runs your local post office, usually with their own money. He paid £154K for the branch. In case you missed the Post Office scandal, here is the short version. The Post Office used a computer system called Horizon, built by Fujitsu. It showed money missing in branches across the UK. The Post Office decided the postmasters took it. Then it prosecuted around 700 of them. Back to Scott Darlington. After the £1,700, the gaps kept growing. He says he kept the accounts looking right because the last time he asked for help, the Post Office just took the money. By February 2009 an audit put the gap at over £44K. On audit day, Post Office fraud investigators arrived. He says they told him he was suspected of a crime before the audit was even finished. They interviewed him under caution and searched his home. He says the Post Office's own report went through his bank accounts and found no evidence he stole anything. The theft charge was dropped. The false accounting charges stayed. Efficiency. His lawyers told him to plead guilty, because nobody would believe the Post Office's computer could be wrong. His daughter was 8. He pleaded guilty to avoid prison and got 3 months suspended. On the first day of his trial, the Post Office did not turn up. The judge was not happy. The Post Office then applied to recover £44K from him under the Proceeds of Crime Act and got a restraining order over his branch lease, his property and his car. It dropped the application on the day of the hearing. He was told it could not succeed. He told the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry (@PostOffInquiry) what came next. He lost the branch and the business. His landlord gave him 7 days to find £5K to avoid bankruptcy, so he sold his instruments and home studio. The conviction helped end his relationship with his daughter's mother after more than 20 years together. It left him with depression and anxiety. He passed the interview for a job, then lost it when a background check showed the conviction. He spent over 3 years unemployed and on benefits. In April 2021 the Court of Appeal quashed his conviction along with 38 others. The judges said the Post Office's failures were so bad that the prosecutions offended the conscience of the court. That came 11 years after his conviction. The ruling returned his good name, which was nice of it. He told the Inquiry the business, the lost income and the years of poverty stayed lost. The Post Office is 100% owned by the UK government. Scott Darlington says he believes the Post Office and the government department that owns it knew, or should have known. He wants those responsible held to account in public. Read his story and share it. The Post Office is hoping you scroll past. Dear Andy Burnham, the Oxford Internet Institute examined social media after the Brexit vote. Their conclusion was that Russian traffic made up around a one thousandth of just one percent of Brexit traffic. Thus, I suspect you're lying; so put up your evidence or shut up.

🚨 EXPOSED: ANDY BURNHAM HANDED 55 MILLION POUNDS OF TAXPAYER CASH TO MAN CITY OWNERS! Remember when Burnham panicked on national television last month to fiercely defend Manchester City against Premier League financial cheating charges? Now I have the official paper trail explaining exactly why he acts like a dedicated public relations agent for the United Arab Emirates! Official records prove that during his time as mayor, Burnham personally chaired the meetings that handed 55 million pounds in taxpayer loans to Jersey based property companies ultimately controlled by Man City owner Sheikh Mansour. This cash was drained straight out of a 300 million pound state housing fund supposedly reserved for struggling local developers. Instead of helping British builders construct homes, Burnham rubber stamped a massive taxpayer loan for the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates! Sheikh Mansour is one of the richest men on the planet and could secure private corporate finance in thirty seconds. Yet Burnham gave a foreign billionaire preferential access to a public cash machine funded entirely by your hard earned wages!!!!! Labour politicians are bleeding the domestic working class dry with brutal taxes while secretly operating a VIP fast lane for Middle Eastern royalty. Retweet this investigation immediately to expose Andy Burnham and demand a full parliamentary inquiry into this Man City money scandal. 🇬🇧🔥

The Free Speech Union is making progress in its efforts to discover who the Working Group on “anti-Muslim hostility” consulted while drafting the non-statutory definition. We are increasingly concerned that extremists may have had the opportunity to influence the definition — which has already had a chilling effect on free speech. When Shadow Justice Secretary @NJ_Timothy submitted an FOI request, the Communities Department initially said it had deleted all the consultation responses. The FSU then threatened the department with legal action, arguing that destroying records from an important public consultation may be unlawful. The department has now told both the FSU and Nick that it still holds the responses — but refuses to release them. What a stunning admission. Were the documents simply lost in the backlog, or was there an attempt to cover up the possibility that extremists had been involved in the process? The next battle is to make the department release the responses. Slowly but surely, we are making progress. The British public deserves to know the truth.
