To grow up is simply to arrive back where you began, minus the fear.

anything else would be limerence. anything else would be codependence. anything else would be narcissism. anything else would be obsessive. anything else would be attachment disorder. the less deeply you feel for the people around you, the more virtuous you are

You have never been in a relationship? Sometimes things don't work and the chapter is over, that's the most normal thing ever.

I don’t know many women that feel this way, most of our breakups are akin to being let out of a prison
One thing I find so unconscionably awful is the normie idea of a "break-up." I can't imagine spending years loving a person and then saying "yeah, just pretend I never existed." If suicide is murdering the future, then a break-up is killing your past. It's a totally inhuman act.

The rule for women is usually if they leave you, they wanted to half way through the relationship. Women tend to stick it out to be sure about the decision. They tell you whats wrong and try to communicate. They give second third fourth chances. If you were together 2 years, she was debating this a year ago and just finally pulled the trigger. Theres no regrets. Its only questioning why you didnt do it sooner. By the time they leave they already went through all the stages of grief and are done. Guys often think it came out of nowhere bc they didnt care when she was clearly miserable and men often will stay in relationships they dont like purely out of convenience and having a bangmaid or other benefits. Relationships arent the same cost to men so staying anyway is still a net positive. Finally leaving feels so good. Theyll never get it. Unless you compare it to prison.

Hey Gamers 👋, Drawquarium has already received so much kindness, & I'am incredibly grateful for over 70.000 WL on Steam 😮. It all started with a small idea, & after more than a year, you can now check out my demo, which I updated just in time for Steam Next Fest!

The funnest part about making games with AI is the quick iteration after you've landed on a vision and created your own tailor made engine. After my post went semi-viral this weekend I created 50 new map elements, a custom map creator, a marble designer studio, and a whole extra game mode ...all from the couch on my phone while watching the Pats Play free and in browser now! AI might have made the AI too hard... I've spent days now working on this game and yet to a win. Try a beta build now, free and in-browser! @threejs @AnthropicAI #threejs #gamedev #indiegame #ScreenshotSaturday

🤯 is what happened to my brain in my early 20s when I learned it runs on biases. Distortions of reality I can’t see, touch, taste or smell. I thought I was a rational thinker. 😬
Just found out about recency bias. Maybe the most important bias ever

Learn to have a loose grip on the world, on people, on possessions. Everything is temporary. And maybe that’s exactly what makes being here so precious. Hold gratitude tightly, but everything else gently. Enjoy the chapter without demanding that it become the entire book.
