I do have a new bot that is much smaller scope, easier to update, and requires very little attention
Check it out if you liked the random select functionality of Lizard-BOT

Hello all! Lizard-BOT has been serving the online fgc for 2 years now, but all good things must come to an end. Lizard-BOT will be going offline at the end of February. We thank you for the usage these last few years!
If you still want to use the random select feature from the bot, @Nogarremi has created a new streamlined bot that is easier to update and maintain! Link found here: github.com/nogarremi/fgc-ran…
One more reminder, Lizard-bot will be undergoing some maintenance later tonight (10pm PST) so expect some down time.
Heads up! We are doing some backend maintenance on Lizard-BOT's hosting service on October 1st around 10pm PST. Possible down time should be expected.
The bot is restarted! Thank you again for your patience.
Please leave any feedback on the downtime with the !Liz command in the discord server of your choice
Just a heads up the bot is currently down. It should be back up in a few hours (by tonight at the latest)!
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The new update is now live!
The glossary command has been updated to now show definitions in discord as well as link back to the site. You can even show videos if one is available👀
Added a lobby command to show lobby information
Shoutouts:
@Nogarremi for the coding work as usual
@Infilament for the FGC glossary and the advice/feedback
Changes can be found on the github and feedback should be left in the Lizard-bot discord. Both can be found at lizard-bot.com/
Just a heads up, Lizard-BOT will be going down tomorrow morning for an update. Will post more information here when it is done!

My almost 10 year old Alienware has been hosting Lizard-BOT for over a year now and running constantly since then. Finally gets a break as we upgraded to a new cloud based system today. Shout outs again to @Nogarremi for doing the main work of setting everything up for it!
Lizard-BOT has been transferred to a new system. If anything seems off with the bot, please let us know in the Lizard-BOT discord server: discord.com/invite/94Pyh6KZT…. Thank you!
Lizard-bot will be transferring to a new machine the next few days. Expect a bit of downtime as we move the bot over. Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause.

Completely forgot to post this last week, but Lizard-BOT @fuLizardman has been online for over a year now! Glad to see it still helping run online tourneys and can't wait to keep working on it.
Lizard-BOT has now been updated to support looking up terms from The Fighting Game Glossary! This is a great resource and this update should help make it more accessible for Lizard-BOT users
Introducing The Fighting Game Glossary. Over 650 terms carefully explained with 200+ video examples and Japanese translations. Easily search by term or game, share links to terms with your friends, and explore related concepts without losing your place.

Lizard-BOT will be going down for a stability update tomorrow morning. Reverting our calls to the Database to make it more stable and a small bug fix. Should be done between 8am-9am CST.
