In NC if you are planning to return your absentee ballot at a county board of elections office by Nov 3 or at an early voting site by Oct 31, note it must be returned IN PERSON by the voter or near relative. if you moved WITHIN the county of voter registration before Oct 5, 2026 and didn’t update your voter info, you can EASILY do that when you CHECK-IN to EARLY VOTE starting Oct 15. If you do that on ELECTION DAY Nov 3 it will require a time-consuming provisional ballot #ncpol
