In the future, large companies like Apple, for example, will offer a certain number of AI tokens as a gift when selling their devices. In fact, tokens will become a kind of currency, as it's already hard to imagine life without AI: chat gpt, Claude.
Google + Purdue proposed a new AI agent architecture: instead of carrying the full conversation history, agents keep only a compact structured state.
In their tests, this cut token usage by 40–95% while maintaining or improving performance.
