We under-35s gave up our formative years and our economy to protect the 75+ crowd from a virus that was statistically non-lethal for us.
Our reward: financial ruin, while Boomers cash SS checks, book cruises, and call us lazy.
Why did we save them again?

Randomly became friends with a super rich Korean investor in Seoul, he barely spoke any english
He told me that once you accept that everything in life is you own personal skill issue, everything becomes much easier to accept and digest
Life has been much simpler since

Never Lose Your Confidence
You’ll need it to survive the storms of life, and most people can spot it when it’s gone.
The problem is everything today is designed to break your confidence so they can sell it back to you.

In order for a man to be able to think and make progress he has to stay light and nimble.
The problem is so many things in life can make you heavy. That heaviness starts making you stupider. It's a tough problem.

-gyms exist
-Coke Zero exists
-hot girls outnumber put-together dudes 2000 to 1
-you and your wife can get drunk at a dimly-lit steakhouse then smash all night without a condom
-you and your friends can hit the gym then smoke a joint at a Coldplay concert
There are people who live in wheelchairs. There are kids born with disabilities. No Prom, no Shoulder Presses, no sleepovers with their best friends staying up til 2AM watching Interstellar.
And you’re not SMASHING the gym like a GRATEFUL SAVAGE!? Eating healthy 90% of the time, calling your friends for no reason, CRUSHING it in your career, ASKING for the raise!? Asking out your crush making her your girlfriend then your wife!?
You’re spinning on a sphere in an infinite universe and the fact you’re alive is a 1 in 500 trillion miracle - you’re so lucky it’s absurd and you have nothing to lose :)
You stop wondering why the US is so insanely rich when you travel the rest of the world
In most of the world there is:
- no real willingness to solve problems
- nor an acceptance of people offering to solve their problems (out of pride)
- simply too much regulation so the problem cannot be solved without a license or long approval time
- very low standards of what is deemed acceptable so the problem isn't seen as a problem in the first place
The rest of the world really mostly functions like this (except Asia and a few countries in the Middle East)
See that?
I rented an office in Mexico, but that smoke detector beeps.
“Could you change the battery to stop it?”
Office manager: “No”
“Why not?”
Office manager: “Too high”
I go outside. I find a guy with a giant ladder.
“Can I pay you to use your ladder to change that battery?”
Him: “100 pesos.”
Deal!
I go back. I'm excited. I tell the office manager.
She say “no.”
“Why not?”
Some government agency would be upset. The beeping means it's working.
I'm at a Starbucks now.
Their office is unrented and empty.
Not sure what to do next.

Rumi was absolutely fucking right, and you can literally get luckier by relaxing & believing everything is rigged in ur favor, you're lucky, and everything will somehow be taken care of.
The only downside is that u won't get others sympathy which u get by believing otherwise.

Boston is an incredible place.
We should stop gatekeeping this beautiful city and region and build a ton of new housing so more people can afford to live here, experience it, contribute to making it even better and call it home.

Here's my conversation with Khabib Nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib), one of the greatest fighters of all time.
It was truly an honor to get to train with him, to have this deep conversation, and to get to know him over the past few months.
We did this conversation entirely in Russian. It's translated and dubbed into English. Both language audio tracks and subtitles are available on YouTube. Here on X, I'm posting the English & Russian language versions as seperate videos. The translation & dubbing was a huge amount of work (which I deeply care about) with humans & AI collaborating. Thanks to the amazing team at @ElevenLabs for their help.
Good luck to Islam Makhachev, Khabib & team this weekend at UFC 330!
And as I've said in the video, I'm truly grateful for all of you, for your support all these years. I love you all ❤️
