I didn’t realize how much of a fucking asshole Ro could be
From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in. In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes. In Spain, for affordable rent and housing. In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption. @JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south. He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment. The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few. This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future. In America, let us listen to our young. We need an economic and political transformation. America's Next New Deal.

This is only going to get worse. And they will continue voting for their own destruction.
The world-famous Place de la Bours which survived two world wars is now on fire in France as red green alliance rioters burn it to the ground. Where is Macron?! If he refuses to send in the military he should be thrown out of office and replaced with a leader who will send in the military. This isn't a protest this is a violent revolution by Marxists and Islamists.

The Limoges Town Hall survived two world wars and stood as a symbol of French history. Now it will be remembered as a symbol of the country’s downfall. This is so incredibly tragic.

This is where the French have to draw the line. If they burn this, it’s over.
🚨 UPDATE: Rioters have reached the area surrounding the Louvre Museum in Paris following a weekend of widespread violence, looting and arson across France. The Louvre has restricted visitor access amid the unrest. There is currently no confirmation that the museum itself has been attacked. President Emmanuel Macron is expected to address the nation at 8pm local time this evening.

“Today, my district office in Minnesota received a letter containing a suspicious substance.”
Today, my district office in Minnesota received a letter containing a suspicious substance. I am grateful to the Plymouth Police Department and the Plymouth Fire Department for their quick response to this threat and keeping our office and staff safe. We are working closely with law enforcement and will continue to monitor the situation.

“We're on the road campaigning today in New Jersey. First stop:”
We're on the road campaigning today in New Jersey. First stop: Gloucester County in South Jersey where we gave a boost to Zack Mullock, @ZMullock, Mayor of Cape May, who's running an exciting campaign to flip NJ-2. (His excellent campaign manager is my former student Chris Carroll!) We rallied with teachers, union leaders, retirees and my awesome colleague @DonNorcross4NJ. As in other rural districts, the people of NJ-2 are going to stun the MAGA establishment and take this seat back for the Democrats. @RebeccaForNJ07 and @PeteButtigieg, see you soon in NJ-7 where we understand a huge crowd is forming!

“Today, my district office received a suspicious package”
Today, my district office received a suspicious package similar to those sent to other congressional offices across the country. Our office was evacuated, and I’m grateful that my staff is safe. I want to thank the Prince William County Police and Fire Departments, as well as federal law enforcement, for their swift response and professionalism. Political violence and intimidation have no place in our democracy. Those responsible must be held accountable.

Says the DEI hire
If this woman were black, the whole conversation would be about DEI. Funny how when white employees fail, nobody mentions THEIR race or ethnicity. And yet — how much of Trump’s administration is just affirmative action for nice-looking white people?

Dear Trump, If you try to revoke H-1B visas or deport H-1B visa holders in future, we Indians will stop visiting America for tourism and stop using your products and services. It will only hurt America's growth. Don't mess with Indians or face the consequences.

Weather she was a good press secretary or not, I bet @KatieZacharia could kick the shit out of @kaitlancollins
He hired her one week ago.

Imagine being a smarmy bitch and thinking it makes you look smart and respectable @kaitlancollins
🚨 BREAKING: Katie Zacharia is out as White House press secretary after just four days. Per Fox's Peter Doocy, a senior White House official says she's "transitioning out of the press secretary job." Before that, Trump said he told her minutes before facing reporters: "You don't have to do this if you don't want to." Asked if he was firing her, he said, "No, no. I want her to have a good life," and added, "She's been brutalized by the media." She has four young kids and a family in California. The press corps went after her like sharks from day one. Trump showed her real class here. I wish her and her family the best.

Horrific and infuriating, every time I wonder how many could have been safe. I pray that, at some point, the adults stop arguing about guns and finally provide a real response for the kids and teachers. It does not need to be this way.

…but it’s okay when THEY do it
This is about Ilhan Omar. But it's also about control, intimidation, & authoritarianism. The message is: we can do this to a member of Congress; no foreign-born American is safe. The administration is using fear as a tactic to discourage people from voicing opposition.

A man in New York was outraged after seeing a Muslim immigrant family dumping trash into a Central Park pond in broad daylight, leaving it completely littered. These people bring their backward mentality with them wherever they go, with no regard for the environment and no respect for other people. The ironic part is that Muslims claim the Quran tells them to be clean. But that only applies inside their homes. Outside, they have no concept of public cleanliness, civic responsibility, or respect for their surroundings. That is why Muslim countries are filthy as hell. And yet, they want the non-Muslim countries they move to to become just like the places they left.

A lot of people talking about Gaza and Israel talk about “human rights.” Terrorists should never have the right to massacre, rape, and kidnap Jews, or anyone else, ever. That is not a right that exists under any serious reading of human rights. The people who carried out those acts on October 7, and who have said they will do it again, do not get to claim the protections that exist for people who are not actively trying to kill civilians. Defending your own people from terrorists who have shown they only want to kill, massacre, rape, torture, and kidnap is not a secondary concern. It is the most basic human right of all. Without that right being exercised first, every other right is just theory.
