Here at AS Sports, community is always at the heart of what we do so when we heard about Margate FC Community Trust's homeless project, we knew wanted to help in any way we could. They’re aiming to offer football sessions on the 3G pitch we recently worked on, as well as giving everyone who needs it access to hot showers, hot food, washing facilities and help from their partner organisations. Our donation of £3000 helped the trust reach a target that triggered donation pledges from Thanet District Council and NHS of £5.5K each, meaning they hit their fundraising goal. What great news to end the year!
