I pre-sold almost all my digital products. Mainly because I wasn’t sure about what to include and also I needed to see the committment from my users to give the committment myself.
I sent an email saying what I was planning to do and added a buy button.
Damn, this was such a bad product trailer…
It creates stress, confusion and anything but bliss. 🤷♂️
And I’m actually the target audience for this.
Software is dead*
* At least paying for simple software is dead.
For years I've been looking for a tool to research keywords in two most used podcast directories: Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
I'm getting about 38% from Apple Podcasts and 35% from Spotify, so obviously optimizing for these two platforms make absolute sense.
I've looked at tools like Ausha but the fact that I cannot mass research keywords to find opportunities is very limiting.
So since software is dead, I will build my own software to find keywords for my podcast.
Spotify has a Web API one can use: developer.spotify.com/docume…
And Apple Podcasts has iTunes Search API: performance-partners.apple.c…
My audience is 88% in DACH (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) so optimizing for that audience is even more difficult.
Podcasts are notoriously difficult to rank for (hence why everyone is doing interviews) so I'll find out whether ranking possibilities exist in this world.
Pro tip: if Grok on X is down (as it is for me right now), just use Grok CLI - it can still look into X posts
Bro the idea was that we work less, not more
my software factory uses 5-10B tokens a day

Do we know how much hardware we'd need to run something like Jev locally?
How to go viral on Tiktok
1. Look up posts in your niche
2. Filter for slideshows
3. Recreate them with AI
4. Profit
I also built a TikTok Copy Generator Bot for Telegram that takes a post, recreates it and then schedules it.
In case you see something viral when doomscrolling!
Built 10+ iOS apps
Gained 1'000 TikTok followers
Slideshow posts with 100k+ views
Revenue: 7 USD
Building iOS apps is not easy money like everyone on X tells you...
- "Easily find low-competition ASO keywords"
- "Quickly build the app with the AI"
- "Just post on TikTok"
- "Scale to $100k/month"
Turns out “just build and post content” isn’t much of a strategy.
So I’m going to test the growth advice people constantly repeat on X and share the actual numbers.
Let’s find out what it really takes to get web and mobile apps off the ground.
Vibe coding will solve this.
I think as we're all building apps that do things we want, we will also be able to change stuff we don't like on hardware we use.
Kindle, TVs, speakers, home automation (lights etc) you name it.
I think @marckohlbrugge has the right hunch with buildinpublic.com/gadgets.
I'm currently playing around with some eInk devices and small ESP32 pieces, but soon we'll flash our own custom firmware to our TVs.
Similar to Winamp skins in the past IYKYK.
Your LG OLED is watching your living room while you sleep.
Gamers Nexus just ran 135 minutes of bench tests.
Retail LG OLED TVs. Including the G5.
Microphone stays active in standby.
Screen is dark. Remote is down. Microphone is still on.
Recording clear audio.
Storing it locally.
Uploading it when the internet comes back.
The TV was disconnected from Ethernet.
Still kept recording.
The researchers put audio near the mic. The TV logged it. Stored the file. Uploaded it the moment connectivity returned.
Plain text voice logs sitting on the device.
LG says it has sold 216 million smart TVs globally.
LG's advertising arm claims access to 363 million secondary devices in the US.
Secondary. Meaning devices that aren't the TV. Your phone. Your partner's smartwatch. Your kid's laptop.
The TV scans your entire network in standby.
Maps every device. Gets their IP addresses. Logs nearby Wi-Fi networks. Signal strengths. Location data.
Then feeds it to LG Ad Solutions.
Automatic Content Recognition catches what's on screen.
Even your HDMI input. Your Apple TV. Your gaming console. All logged.
But the microphone in standby is the part that hits different.
Because standby means off to you.
To LG it means the listening device is still powered.
Just not telling you.
Researchers found remote code execution vulnerabilities in webOS.
So your network-scanning, audio-recording, data-harvesting television is also potentially hackable by anyone on your Wi-Fi.
LG says nothing.
No comment. No response. No explanation.
Just microphones in 216 million living rooms.
All quietly working while the owner thinks the TV is asleep.
Wait 'til he finds out about Ninja Creami and making his own high protein ice cream
Skyr is really exceptional
€1.65 for 400g
48g protein
Just 200 calories!
Not processed like protein powders, shakes and bars. But a natural 🇮🇸 Icelandic process of heating cow milk, adding rennet and fermenting it. It's actually classified as a cheese but tastes like yogurt!
🍋 Add half a squeezed lemon
🥢 Add cinnamon powder
Mix it up and it's tasty and you got 1/3rd of your daily protein (depending on your diet)
Hit Codex weekly limit and I'm at 80% Claude limit. Tokenmaxxing to the fullest, but I must say Grok 4.5 has improved significantly, doing many things much faster.
So I'll daily drive it until my limits reset.
I think we'll see a future where individuals have their own app stores.
Filled with apps that are not necessarily released live in the "official" app store, but built for their own individual use case.
Opens up a whole new discussion on privacy and hardware too!
day 2 of warming up a tiktok account.
first day was
- creating a profile
- scrolling a bit on the timeline
- look for specific hashtags
- like a few posts
- 1-2 bookmarks
- did this 2x
TikTok is the easiest way to get viewers for your app.
But you have to know where and how they interact with content:
Create your account
Look up some topics/videos on the topic
Warm up your account
AND THEN
Start posting
