This is pure, unvarnished ugliness from a man who cannot stomach being questioned.
Trump points a finger and screeches "Quiet! Quiet! What's wrong with you? Are you a SICK person?" at a journalist doing his job is revolting.
It is the behavior of a playground bully cornered by facts, stripped of all dignity, and reduced to spitting insults because he has no answers.

In the last 72 hours the US has:
-> Announced a barbaric livestreamed execution.
-> Sanctioned the International Criminal Court.
-> Made a deal to help finance Russia's war machine.
-> Pressured multiple countries to withdraw their sponsorship of a leading European conference on disinformation.
And we all just carry on as normal this weekend? Like the arrival of a new fascist dictatorship isn't upon us?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Why are there no world leaders prepared to even talk about this, let alone take a stand?
I feel like I'm screaming into the void but surely someone, somewhere outside the US is thinking similarly.
Surely?

It poaches scarce healthcare workers
It⬆️wait times
...& it threatens patient safety

Why aren’t American voters demanding that Congress remove a president who keeps courting Putin while Russia reportedly feeds Iran intelligence on US forces and North Korean troops help Russia invade Ukraine?
What, exactly, does “America First” mean now? 🇺🇸

Trump says he likes Kim Jong Un and believes the feeling is mutual.
“He’s a friend of mine. He likes Trump. There are a lot of other people he doesn’t like. I’m probably the only person in the whole world he likes, and I like him.”
Quite an interesting identification with a man who has effectively turned his own country into a labour camp of the 21st century.

Obama is absolutely right here.
There is no doubt that if we had more women in charge, there would be less war, better healthcare, better education, and less income inequality.
Obama: "If you put women in charge of every government for two years... I have a strong belief that things would be better. I'm confident about that."

Barack Obama at his last press briefing with reporters, 2017:
"I have enjoyed working with all of you. That does not, of course, mean that I've enjoyed every story that you have filed, but that's the point of this relationship. You're not supposed to be sycophants. You're supposed to be skeptics. You're supposed to ask me tough questions. You're not supposed to be complimentary, but you're supposed to cast a critical eye on folks who hold enormous power."

Last night, the President of the United States went on live TV and told his supporters to vote even if they weren’t registered and to “cheat like hell.” At the same event, the crowd shouted that Democratic candidates should be shot during Ted Cruz’s speech.
How the fuck is any of this being treated as normal?

I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone. Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link. Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

Trump’s new tariff plan isn’t just about trade — it’s about pitting Canadian provinces against each other.
B.C. and Quebec get hit very hard, while Alberta and Saskatchewan are barely touched.
We are now, as Canadians being warned that this uneven pressure is a divide‑and‑conquer strategy aimed at weakening Canada’s unity.
We can’t afford to fall for this. Canada stands strong only when provinces stand together.
Keep your eyes open, Canada.

Walter Cronkite: After liberating execution camps… Germans (who cried) they didn’t know…were as as guilty as Nazis…because they applauded when Hitler shut down (media) and said, ‘We don’t need to know. We trust our government...’
It’s our duty to know.

I couldn't understand why the FBI was investigating Lindsey Graham's death—in the absence of any suspicious toxicology report in the autopsy—until I realized it gave Trump and his lawyer Kash Patel an excuse to enter Graham's house and remove potentially incriminating documents
