A British sovereign wealth fund would've been raided in every budget to pay for benefits and the NHS. New Labour would've been passing that money out like it was going out of style. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Britain’s missing sovereign wealth fund… Treasury officials have modelled that had the UK done what Norway did with North Sea revenues, there would be a £1 trillion fund…
As Chancellor sets up Energy Wealth Fund, a look at the long historical argument about where the oil windfall went, including from interviews with those who have run Norways $2.4 trillion fund, now the biggest in the world, filled from the proceeds of the same North Sea.

To summarize, Ashley Young is saying that Antonio Conte
- Would demand vastly improved fitness levels
- analyse defeats intensely
- demand backing from the board
And that is why he'd be a disaster
🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ashley Young believes Antonio Conte would be a DISASTER at Manchester United! 😳
🗣️ "If they're not going to run and Antonio Conte goes in there, it's going to be a disaster, I think."
🗣️ "You're gonna run a lot, you'll be fitter than you've ever been."
🗣️ "The training sessions were a lot of 11 v 11, at times a little bit boring."
🗣️ "Meetings were long. When I say long, I'm talking, if we lost the game, we could go in and do the meeting after the game and it'd stop literally everything."
🗣️ "And you could be in there for three, four hours."
🗣️ "He tries to test mentally – but the board as well, and the owners, and I think that people get annoyed with him."
I’m not sure he’s even in the top 20 😂
I don't get Rushworth hate, hes comfortably top 10 keepers in the prem

If you are a young adult who likes football you will already have a team. If you aren’t into it you are unlikely to randomly start going just because it’s the women’s team.
Family friendly surely has to be the best way to get young kids into it who will stay into it as the grow

The changes, due to come into force early next year, will end the so-called “double provision” loophole, which allows criminals detained under hospital orders to claim over £800 a month in Universal Credit despite their care being funded by the NHS
It will apply only to criminals convicted of serious offences and means they will no longer receive either Universal Credit, Pension Credit, State Pension and Employment and Support Allowance
It follows a campaign by the mother of Nottingham student Barnaby Webber, who was murdered by paranoid schizophrenic Valdo Calocane in 2023 and who receives benefits in hospital

Yes but they are generally good managers. He managed to struggle in the Scottish league with rangers and is struggling with Leicester in league one.
Think the question is why does the media defend him so much
Plenty of managers are known for a possession-based style of football and take pride in their appearance.
A plethora of them have a ginormous ego. Well, pretty much all of them.
But none of the above seem to be castigated as much as the head coach of Leicester City, Russell Martin.
So why is he the subject of a walking culture war?

📆 On this day, in 2019, Brentford were 2-0 down to Millwall with just 6 minutes left. And then this happened...
⚽ 84' — Josh Dasilva
⚽ 88' — Bryan Mbeumo
⚽ 90'+4' — Ollie Watkins
Anyone else notice who's in goal for Brentford?
