NAFDAC Seizes Counterfeit Alcoholic Beverage Packaging Materials Worth Over ₦200 Million in Aba
Today, NAFDAC, acting on credible intelligence, raided five shops at Old Court Road Market, Aba, Abia State, suspected of producing and supplying counterfeit packaging materials for popular alcoholic beverages and other products.
The operation uncovered counterfeit labels, corks, packs and outer packaging materials bearing the names of several brands, including Jameson, Glenfiddich, Four Cousins, Lord’s Dry Gin, Imperial Blue, Goya Oil, Chelsea, Squadron and Seaman’s Aromatic Schnapps. The packaging materials seized were estimated to be worth over ₦200 million.
During the operation, NAFDAC’s Investigation & Enforcement operatives encountered threats and resistance from traders, making the evacuation of the seized materials challenging. The owners of the five shops were absent, and the premises were placed on hold to prevent interference with the items remaining inside.
NAFDAC issued an invitation to the Market Union Chairman, who pledged to ensure the security of the sealed premises and assist the Agency in identifying and presenting the shop owners.

Fake, counterfeited and expired drugs worth over N2b was discovered in this market (Ogbo Ogwu in Onitsha) and NAFDAC sealed up the whole section of the market till they now discovered another N10b worth of fake, counterfeited and expired drugs in the plumbing materials section of the same market and still sealed it up...
Now, guess who went there and was telling NAFDAC to reopen the market?

Dem hate APC, but they are collecting jobs from APC, from being their cameraman to their shirt printers. I love how Mario calls out all these influencers &, for playing on the emotions of gullible Nigerians.

If Davido knows what is good for him and his music career, he had better issue a public statement dissociating himself from his uncle’s political stance if he does not want to go the Naira Marley way.
Or else, the next few days I can assure his career would dwindle like a flame fading into darkness.
