Something a lot of people don’t realise is “men are inherently evil” is literally just “boys will be boys” but make it ✨feminist✨ It takes away the responsibility men have when they terrorise women by painting it as nature instead of it being a CHOICE.

The day we accept that men are just as much victims of patricarchy as women are, will be the day we'll finally be able to dismantle patriarchy These boys weren't born cruel, they were taught cruelty because cruelty is "manly."

Adaptação horrorosa pqp... O Ciclope não tem nem o visor, não tem uma cena dele usando o laser dos olhos e os outros X-Men sequer são citados

Two times Loki made a tree, one to destroy a race and one to save everything and everyone. He finally got it right the second time.

People forget that Thor 1 was the first and directed by Kenneth Branagh. At this point it was only his story that existed. There was no Loki stabbing Thor at 8yo or Loki cutting Sif’s hair yet. The intention of Branagh’s original story is different than what others added on.

And mind you, he’d never been evil he just liked pranks at that point

Quotes from Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hiddleston themselves after the movie came out. No one was meant to be a purely good person. Thors friends were bad company, Thor an arrogant and reckless jerk, Loki jealous and conniving who turns cruel DURING the events of the movie.

Branagh clearly had the intent that Loki is not respected, despite being a prince. Whether that’s his own fault or just because of his way of fighting, as Thor makes fun of in this and a servant laughs at. Loki retaliates by scaring them with a “trick” + youtu.be/P23aKF-694k?is=hpzj…

Thor doesn’t even care for the servant’s sake, just jokes about the wasted wine. This was deleted but helps show the dynamic on Asgard that Branagh was going for.
