The season is over for Nebraska Football. We’ll end up in a meaningless toilet bowl, at best, once again. Ridiculous….

Beans averaged 70. Nothing special. That’s about “normal” for us. Corn is outstanding. Just getting started. But, it should easily go 30-50 bushels better than last yr. We are merely caretakers of God’s creation. His provision amazes me. Every year.

Finally got started with harvest yesterday. Up at 4am this morning and looking forward to a good day. It’s harvest season. Magical time of year. IYKYK….

My weather app says the sun is going to begin revealing itself at 11am this morning. If true, it’ll be the first time I’ve seen the sun in two weeks. Either my weather app is wrong (again) or we’re turning a corner and maybe harvest can start in a few days.

All dressed up and nowhere to go. Gonna be a late fall in SE South Dakota this year.

Think I’ll just go check the oil & tire pressure in the combine for the 37th time.
