A group from CAC visited @FPConservatory today! They loved seeing the titan arum, otherwise known as the “corpse flower” because it only blooms for a few days and then collapses! 😊 #InspiringLifeJourneys

The flower started collapsing on Tuesday evening, July 18, and the spadix stood back up overnight this morning. We expect a collapse tonight or tomorrow morning. We started a time-lapse yesterday afternoon to grab footage of the collapse.

This impressive flower cluster belongs to the endangered titan arum or corpse plant. Its size sets it apart from other Amorphophallus species, as it features one of the world's most significant flowering structures. Keep updated on the blooming progress by following us!
