The very beginning of Orange Pore Cap I think. On Holly.

Shame I've found this too late. My first woodpecker nesting hole.

This ivy covered fence on our drive is alive with pollinators at the moment. Including the rather lovely ivy bee, there was a red admiral, wasps, various hoverflies and massive queen bumbles this morning ❤️

Pearl wasn't sure of this large unidentified object in the middle of the field 😂

The fungi are calling! Pearl's first time. (10 month old chihuahua) I can't wait to find a massive tree bracket to put her on🤣 Hen of the Woods, Orange Pore Cap, & my first fruiting bodies of Green Elfcup. They may be tiiiiny, but THEY COUNT! 😂😂 @bernoid 🩵🍄

My first ever horse in coloured pencil. Turned out alright!

THREE! clouded yellows seen in a field just down from our house 💛

What's the best trail/trophy camera these days? My old Bushnell is giving up 😞

Sidney & I were very lucky & saw a clouded yellow butterfly on our dog walk this morning 💛

My first born turns 18 tomo 😳 Here's the 'card' I made her, with 18 'bubbles' that mean something to her over the years. (being our bridesmaid aged 4, her fave characters, winning an art comp, breaking her elbow, her first pony, learning bass guitar etc)

Madam is not allowed round the front garden because she likes to eat the ox-eye daisies. So peers at me through the fence 😂

Capsid bug gathering on knapweed I grew from seed. Also a vapourer moth caterpillar on my potted Willow. No sign of any Herald moth caterpillars on there like I had last year.

Gorgeous summer evenings like these are the best ❤️

This is why I leave the thistles in my garden. A male bullfinch and a juvenile goldfinch feeding together. (rubbish pics through upstairs window)

Wow. How good was #TigerIsland @BBCOne !?! It's been a long time since I've been so captivated by a programme.

I had a hornet in the car whilst driving 🚘 😱💩 🫣 😰🚘 😱💩 😧 🫣 💩 😱
