🇫🇷🇱🇧 Macron on Lebanon:
"Southern Lebanon is occupied by the Israeli army, and pressure is being placed on Lebanon, undermining its sovereignty.
This is the worst way to address the Hezbollah issue."
Macron is right: Lebanon's sovereignty matters.
Occupation and military escalation are NOT a sustainable solution to Hezbollah.

366 buildings struck and destroyed in Beirut’s Dahieh - A new geospatial study by the Alma Research and Education Center reveals the extent of Hezbollah’s military infrastructure embedded within the civilian population.
The study, based on an analysis of Airbus satellite imagery covering an area of 25 square kilometers in the Dahieh, southern Beirut, presents the following findings:
2024 - Operation Northern Arrows: At least 304 buildings were destroyed within the study area during 62 days of fighting, including 292 mid-rise and high-rise buildings.
2026 - Operation Roaring Lion: An additional 62 Hezbollah sites were struck and destroyed within the same study area over 47 days.
Human Shields: Hezbollah military infrastructure was identified at distances ranging from less than one meter to several dozen meters from schools, hospitals, religious institutions, and public facilities.
Military Reconstruction: The significant decrease in the number of sites destroyed during Operation Roaring Lion in 2026 compared to Operation Northern Arrows in 2024 indicates, among other things, in our assessment, two trends.
The first is Hezbollah’s difficulty in rebuilding its military presence in the Dahieh during the 15 months between the two campaigns.
The second is that Hezbollah has been and continues to be engaged in the redeployment of its assets. As part of this redeployment, Hezbollah is establishing a presence in other areas of the Beirut metropolitan area, outside the Dahieh, as well as in other parts of Lebanon that are not traditionally considered Hezbollah’s “natural” areas of operation.
Key Finding: The study provides further geospatial evidence of Hezbollah’s systematic embedding of military infrastructure within civilian areas and its use of the civilian population as human shields.
The use of civilians as human shields is not a byproduct of Hezbollah’s activities, but an integral component of its military and information warfare strategy.

🇶🇦🇮🇷 Qatar is publicly warning Iran that chaos in the Strait of Hormuz would hurt the REGION more than America or Israel...
Qatar's FM spokesman pointed to mines, oil spills and severed internet cables as threats whose consequences would fall primarily on countries surrounding the Gulf.
His message to Tehran was simple: the U.S. is separated from Hormuz by an OCEAN, while Israel does NOT depend on Gulf waters.

BREAKING: Israel almost launched a multi-day bombing campaign against Iran’s military, nuclear, and energy infrastructure, but the operation was halted at the last minute because Trump opposed starting a major war before the U.S. midterms, per the Financial Times.
The IDF was fully prepared to strike on the weekend of October 10, with targets including civilian infrastructure, nuclear sites, and decapitation strikes.
Netanyahu, trailing in the polls, wanted the strikes to rally his base before Israel's October 27 election, while Trump blocked it to avoid an energy price surge that would hurt Republicans on November 3.
Reports also suggest Netanyahu might attack Iran as early as this week before the election without Trump’s approval.

🚨 REPORT: ISRAEL WAS READY TO LAUNCH MASSIVE NEW STRIKES ON IRAN — TRUMP SAID NOT YET
Prime Minister Netanyahu planned to renew attacks on Iran over the weekend of October 10, with the IDF reportedly prepared for strikes on nuclear facilities, regime targets and energy infrastructure.
But President Trump opposed restarting the fighting before the November 3 US midterms, according to the Financial Times.
The planned operation was reportedly set to be even more intense than the US-Israeli strikes in February.
Israel has also prepared a new target bank, including infrastructure that has never previously been hit.
And this may only be delayed — not canceled.
One source told the Financial Times that renewed strikes in the coming weeks are “not an unreasonable scenario.”

🇮🇷🇺🇦 Iran says Ukraine has been secretly sending thousands of tiny drones into Iraq.
An Iranian security source told Tasnim that Ukrainian teams have brought drones into several countries around Iran, including thousands into Iraqi Kurdistan.
And Tehran says it knows which countries are hosting these teams, but isn't naming them just yet.
Iran sees this as part of a bigger push by Europe and NATO against it and is now deciding how to respond.
It also claims Ukraine attacked one of its ships in the Caspian Sea before, but Iran let that one slide.
Given that all this is coming from an unnamed Iranian source, probably best to take it with a grain of salt.
