Today we announced that @colyermike is stepping down as CEO of Foundry after 7 years. Mike built Foundry from 1 employee into the operator of the world's largest Bitcoin mining pool. He will remain with Foundry for six months as a strategic advisor to support the transition.

Zcash NU7 is now live on testnet, ahead of a targeted Nov. 5 mainnet activation. What changes for miners: ✔️ Blocks every 25 seconds instead of 75 ✔️ Per-block rewards fall to a third to offset the faster block time, so daily ZEC issuance is unchanged ✔️ Miners keep 40% of transaction fees. The other 60% goes to a reserve that funds future block rewards There's nothing for miners on Foundry Zcash Pool to change or reconfigure. We're currently testing Zakura so that our customers are running on the best possible infrastructure when this activates on mainnet.
