In the days following the January revolutionary uprising, Alireza was arrested at his family home. While several regime agents held him down, they shot him four times in the legs. To this day, they have produced no evidence to substantiate their accusations against him.
His teenage sister, his brother, and his mother were also arrested. The regime destroyed everything inside their home, including even his sister’s dowry.
After undergoing surgery to remove the bullets from his legs, Alireza was quickly taken back to prison, where he was tortured in an attempt to force a confession. His mother was held in the room next door so she could hear and witness what was being done to her son. When they failed to extract a confession from Alireza, they tortured his mother in front of him. She has now been sentenced to five years in prison, simply for being his mother.
Alireza was once taken to the gallows to be executed. He suffered a heart attack and witnessed the execution of one of the people he loved most. He was rushed to the hospital, but after a partial recovery, he was taken back to prison to face execution once again.
Last night, the marriage ceremony of Alireza and Mahshad Kashani, the woman he loved, was held inside the prison. They hoped that being legally married might allow them to see each other, perhaps for the last time. It was Alireza’s final request. Mahshad has also been sentenced to five years in prison, and now she will have to endure the pain of separation behind prison walls.
This is only a brief glimpse into the final months of a 24-year-old’s life in Iran under the Islamic Republic: the life of a young man in love, who this morning was murdered by the regime through execution, simply for demanding freedom.

Btw, we should anticipate the possibility that Charles will sit out the next race. He says he’s fine but you don’t temporarily lose part of your vision if you’re “fine”. That was a textbook concussion impact and I’d be a little shocked if he gets the all clear for next week.

🇮🇹 Primero, me alegra que Charles esté bien. Hemos hecho buena carrera dadas nuestras limitaciones. La parada perfecta con VSC y el buen ritmo del final me han permitido ganar posiciones en las últimas vueltas. ¡Con ganas de Madrid!

Lewis Hamilton asked what went through his mind some minutes after the 'nightmare start for the Scuderia'.
"Just thought about the team. Just thinkin about the team. Obviously we were both in decent position.. if we just held those two positions we would've been in a much better position... lost so much ground then... to get so few points for the team I think is really sad."

Second time you see a certain fanbase celebrate a 50G crash and saying it's "karma"
It isn't much but weird that it happened twice.
You know you only gained points on antoneli was when he didn’t score any points?
🚨 LEWIS HAMILTON WANTS FERRARI TO BACK ONE DRIVER IN THE TITLE FIGHT.
Hamilton sits 59 points behind championship leader Kimi Antonelli and believes Ferrari can no longer afford to keep everything completely equal between its drivers.
🗣️ “We’re at a point in the year where 59 points is a huge deficit to recover from… we do have to work as a team.”
Asked directly if Ferrari needs to throw its weight behind one driver, Hamilton’s answer was simple:
“Yeah.” 👀
