You do need a base to "onion skin", or you just draw over nothing? Don't you need something to start with? Oh god I'm taking a break from this app, you can't win against idiots.
I actually do have an idea, and I know that having a base of the drawing makes animating easier because you just draw over a slightly transparent frame. You of course wouldn't understand because you draw art without a base, and then finish. Animators draw over each frame.
Based off the animation I'm talking about, drawing the character and the scene takes way longer, but once the character is drawn and everything it takes like 5 hours. What isn't clicking?
I'm going based off the animation that charges 250 per second, I could literally count each frame. That means its no more than 10 frames. You act like they redraw each frame on a fresh page without an overlay. You're the stupid moron.
"put years into crafting their skill" that goes for many things, not just art. Artists who don't stand for 9 hours shouldn't feel entitled to earn 250 dollars for 5 hours of work. Maybe stop using "don't value artists" too, you are using that wayy too much.
Should an artist be paid more than people working physical minimum wage jobs? Unless they are working at a studio, it should be treated as a side hustle.

1. You're right, I'm not an artist.
2. I do respect artists, paying $250 per second doesn't justify if I do dumbass.
3. I do respect art, just not overpriced ones.
4. I can have an opinion, you don't determine whether it's meaningless.
I don't act like I need one second of animation to live, I'm saying the price is absurd. 50-70 dollars makes more sense. Snooping down and saying a few cents just shows how ignorant you are in this economy, it makes me think you don't pay the bills.

Do you understand the process of how the art is made doesn't mean anything? Only the outcome matters if you want to talk about demand. In the end people only care about the *outcome* which usually isn't scarce with the millions of other digital artists.
Mad broke?? Can you pay 250 dollars a second for an animation? Do you even fucking understand the economy. Excuse me for my language but you seem to be a genuine retard or just a little kid who's never worked a job before.

It's not hard to understand that a VERY LOW percentage of digital art is unique.
There's almost an 100% chance someone can draw in your art style, it's just that they haven't been seen. Media visibility is a huge factor, and taking abuse of it doesn't justify anything.
No one in *their right mind* is paying. Idiots can pay. What isn't clicking to you? My topic changed because of the other person's input. That's how debates work.

Your main part? Okay let's go over it.
1. The price is too expensive.
2. Fans doesn't justify the price, classic consumerism.
3. There's plenty of other artists, the profession isn't close to being scarce.
4. "I have no idea what I'm talking about" (invalidation)

How is it stupid if there's a connection? I'm not attempting reductio ad absurdum since I'm telling you to ignore the blatant absurdity of the situation, I'm pointing at the same-situation connections. How do you know the billionaires going to Epstein's island weren't fans?
Replying to @MochiVeeArt @theepiest
I know this may be extreme, but the connection is visible.
The billionaires going to Epstein island may have thought of it as a good deal (wasn't), but was that all that mattered? Working with bad actors?
The people paying for this animation supported a 'bad actor', the price.
