We’ve entered the “jokes” phase of childhood. “Daddy, why did the grass cross the road?” “Why, kiddo?” “So it could drive a car around the playground and see its friends!” (Hysterical, even maniacal laughter at her own joke).

So far, my second child can say the obvious words (mama, dada)…and “cookie.” Today he added “paw patrol.” I’m considering this as an indictment of our parenting.

The most frustrating part of not drinking is people who are.
If it wasn’t for bathrooms I’d probably have to start smoking to have somewhere to be by myself for a minute at parties
Preschooler finally in bed, me settling down with a nice glass of seltzer (Publix raspberry, because I like delicious seltzer). “DADA! DADA! D A D A ! ! !” “Yes baby?” “Do bees like water?”

I’m busy teaching my daughter to fish on vacation. Take 30% off our handcrafted leather goods in celebration of 10 years of FFF while I’m out goofing around. formfunctionform.com/discoun…

For as seemingly catastrophic as it could be to get it wrong, tax forms are not intuitive at all...and I fill out the same frickin form every month--still confusing. – at Orlando, FL

Lol just found this old tweet. Fun fact: I was filling my sales tax reports out wrong literally every month for 4 years (attributing it to the wrong month). 1.5 years later and the FL DOR still can’t get it sorted out. Prolly paying my CPA 10x whatever possible fees to fix it.

I also found out last month that for 10 years I have been doing sales tax wrong. I’ve messed just about everything up by now, so I’m probably (?) doing it right finally?
My wife, daughter and son just took off on first flight w/o me on it. I’m home now and already doom-imagining how there would be a terrible accident and I wouldn’t be able to look anywhere in this house without being reminded of them. Thanks for that, brain.
You may recognize these jeans from such blockbuster hits as “yesterday,” and “the day before.”
Does everyone dislike talking with drunk people when they’re sober or am I the only jackass?

Becoming rather certain that peanuts are triggering my very annoying eczema and I feel like my best friend has betrayed me. *cries in comfort-food cocktail peanut can* WHY, MR. PEANUT, WHYYYYY??
Somehow, I hadn’t thought until just 15 minutes ago to turn off the notification badge on my email app. Already feel way less anxious.

The amount of food we throw away with a toddler gives my poverty-childhood-self extreme anxiety
I should not be listening to rap this loudly in the car on the way to a popup or imma be aggressive af. 🤷‍♂️
On an unrelated note: mayonnaise used to be my go-to for cooking grilled cheese until I was out and blindly used coconut oil. Y’all.
How do you say “I swear I know your name, I just can’t remember right now” in English?

I can’t believe it took me 10 years to move over to shopify. I know far too well how to use the far too frustrating woocommerce/Wordpress—excited to have the capability of handing off backend tasks to an employee instead of doing it all myself.

But FRICK is it tedious trying to get it all built out in another platform. Crazy how much work I’ve done over the years and now it’s like “cool, let’s redo everything.”
