Onchain security is everyone’s problem and nobody’s job.
ETHSecurity Initiatives is how we are changing that.
Propose the work. Fund the work. Build the work.

Announcing Forge Proposal Simulator v1.0.0 🎉
FPS is a Foundry framework for building, simulating, validating, and reviewing governance proposals before they go onchain. Governance transactions are high-stakes and often difficult to test end to end.
The documentation has been completely rewritten around the new changes and workflows, from installation and proposal authoring to fork simulation, validation and calldata review.

If you build, audit, or sign governance proposals, give the new version a try. github.com/solidity-labs-io/…

🚨Every Ledger running the Ethereum app is vulnerable to signature substitution
A malicious dApp with WebHID access could race an APDU during your transaction review and swap the tx being signed while the device still shows the original
Here's what you need to know:
FPS was part of @TheDAOfund's Ethereum Security QF round on @Giveth, the largest QF matching pool ever.
This year FPS has been used to simulate 57 governance proposals across 4 protocols, protecting $191M in TVL.
Next, we'll be shipping a release with a new kind of multisig transaction support, foundry compatibility, and getting FPS in front of more teams that are still running governance without a simulation layer.
Our new site has a blog with project updates forgeproposalsimulator.com/b…
If your protocol passes proposals without simulating them first, reach out to @elliot0x. We'd be happy to help you get set up.
