پس از یک دوره افزایش نرخ بهره، تورم در آمریکا دوباره رو به افزایش گذاشت و فدرال رزرو تصمیم گرفت بار دیگر نرخ بهره را بالا ببرد. (نمودار آبی مربوط به نرخ بهره و نمودار سبز مربوط به تورم آمریکاست.)

۲/طلا پس از یک صعود تند و تیز، احتمال افزایش نرخ بهره را پیشخور کرد و وارد فاز اصلاح شد. در سپتامبر ۱۹۷۴ یک کف محلی تشکیل داد و دوباره به سمت سقف جدیدی در محدوده ۲۰۰ دلار حرکت کرد.

No one has a proper grasp of the current #oil situation! On news of negotiations, oil prices fall; as soon as fighting starts, they rise again.
Be careful to stay away from market noise. The continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz has created a strange shock to oil supply, the effects of which will only fully emerge in the coming months. On top of the Strait of Hormuz closure, add the fresh tensions in the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, Houthi attacks on Aramco, and Ukraine's widespread strikes on Russian oil refineries and storage facilities!

Turkey, by selling nearly all of its U.S. Treasury holdings, has sacrificed a future weapon in order to preserve the present.

Nearly all military analysts consider another U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran to be inevitable but likely after Trump returns from China.
Another possibility must also be considered: that the attack could begin within hours and become a powerful pressure lever against China.

Economics is the driving engine of politics.
My analysis of silver, and of course gold, suggests that these two metals should begin another downward wave.
I conclude that either a deal between Iran and the United States will not be reached, or if an agreement is made, it will lead to internal conflict and civil unrest in Iran between the negotiating faction and a second, more extremist faction.
