I actually believe this because writers love to imagine a final ‘symbolic shot’ for their story without planning the plot that builds up to it

The Duffer Brothers say that the ending of Stranger Things has been planned for many years.

another big example of this is himym. The writers could not let go of their pre-conceived ending despite the fact the course of show had changed over the years. Why is it so hard for them to admit their story became something else? Why can’t they create a new ending to fit it?

The second ST introduced more multi-dimensional entities in s4, created a lasting connection between the characters and El, the ending could no longer be what they had planned from s1. If you’re going to change the s1/2 vibes, change the way it finishes too

how are you queer and making a gay relationship happen for a straight one, and fantasizing about a queer kid being used as a prop for a straight relationship like already happened in the show, mileven isn't interesting enough to humiliate yourself this way max, you're weird
