I have presented on this, but pretty broad analysis. I found Lutheran schools & schools with higher percentages of low-income students had higher opt-out rates. School with higher percentages of choice students had lower opt-outs. A lot more to learn. jsonline.com/story/news/educ…

We used to do this in little league. It's called playing baseball. I used to pitch and when I was predictable I got shelled, and I hit better when I figured out what the picture was doing.
David Vassegh revealed on AM 570 that players around MLB were texting him during Game 2 because they believed the Brewers had Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s pitches. Vassegh specifically pointed to at-bats from Jake Bauers and Brice Turang. Bauers fouled off six consecutive pitches during a 12-pitch walk before Yamamoto’s night ended after only 2⅔ innings. There is no confirmation that Yamamoto was tipping pitches or that Milwaukee knew what was coming—but other players apparently saw something that caught their attention. What do you think? #Dodgers #BlueDynasty #NLCS

It’s genuinely fascinating that Wisconsin’s two senators are Ron Johnson and Tammy Baldwin. Does any state have something similar?

Nidal Hasan committed a capital offense and was found guilty after being provided due process. Fine, but the taking of a human life by the state is a serious, somber affair. Making it into a sporting event is just gratuitous devaluing of human life.
Hegseth on Nidal Hasan: "He's gonna get a firing squad of soldiers. As it should be. We'll make sure that people are able to watch it. That it's public. Because people need to understand that there's serious consequences for these types of things."

This will be a good tool. Pleased to see Oshkosh moving in the right direction, with increases in Math and ELA proficiency for all students, and specifically for minority students. We have a ways to go as the goal is 5 years of consistent gains.
We should have this interactive tomorrow, but here's a look at ELA proficiency around the state by district from the new 2025-26 Forward Exam data. Usual suspects performing poorly, but there are good and bad performers to learn from.

A fascinating panel discussion with RightCount and WisACT right now. The fact Wisconsin doesn't do early ballot processing remains absurd. Seems like such a logical step everyone wants.

This is universally applicable.
I think one of the most important aspects of being a good leader is being humble enough to take advice from your peers or subordinates. Your rank does not inherently make you the smartest person in the room.
